Someone needs to kick Holly's ass. Maybe we'll get lucky and he'll pick on Puder one day and get his neck snapped in two by the kid.
Am I the only one who thinks Holly knows he sucks and is destined for mid-to-lower-card peratory for life thus making him jealous of just about anyone and everyone younger than him?
what a dick.

Heh. Sorry about the censorship (entertaining but pointless "practice" posts deleted -- one benefit of registering is that you can edit your posts). This is one of those words that is having all of its innocent meanings overruled by the one slang one. Can't be helped.
As far as Holly goes...
I'm amazed he wasn't punted with the last round of cuts, like Billy was.

I agree. If anyone can get to the bottom of this, it's Jim Steel.

More reported information...
"More has come in regarding the Bob Holly/Rene Dupree shoot that broke out at the Smackdown house show on Sunday. Holly gave Dupree a legit chairshot to the head, legit punches, and legit kicks during the match. Dupree has a lot of heat on him backstage with a lot of guys, but especially Holly because he was driving Holly's rental car and got a ticket in it. Holly then had to fly to another city to get the ticket taken care of.

"Dupree and Holly tag in and something went wrong because Holly starts to shoot on Dupee. It starts with a front facelock that was definitely not a work and worked itself into a stretch and then Holly dumps Dupree out to ringside and starts potatoing him with legit punches and kicks. Dupree ducks outside where Holly follows and goes at him hard again with a hard chair shot. He actually THREW the chair into Dupree's head and neck as Dupree offered up his back. At this point Dupree's eye was swollen shut and he has a lot of noticeable bumps on his face. Holly has him on the ground at ringside and kicks him in the face three or four times. Dupree is covered up, but at least one kick connects. Holly backs off enough for the finish, which is a Dupree salt shot to Haas on the top turnbuckle. During his beating on the outside Dupree was yelling at Haas to get his attention for the spot because Holly was after him again. Haas gets rolled up by Suzuki while Dupree runs for the back with Holly coming after him.

I was at the show. Holly really didn't get too many shots in on Rene. However, he did chase him to the back before the match finished. In all fairness to the report from the wrestling observer, aside from when holly threw the chair at Dupree, there wasn't much contact, Charlie Haas (Holly's partner) worked most of the match. According to most of the wrestling hot sheets it all started cause Dupree got a speeding ticket in a rental car that was under Holly's name.

Word is that Holly's participation in tonight's Tough Enough segment was part of his punishment for the Dupree incident.
We should punish more people like this. It can't be any less effective than the death penalty, can it?

Hey Chris
That was suppose to be punishment for what happened with Dupree but alot of people are saying that Holly isnt being punished at all and I have to agree
FOR THOSE THAT HAVENT HEARD THIS IS WHAT HAPPENED BETWEEN HOLLY AND DUPREE As the wrestling news week opens, the first big item that is surfacing on many websites regards a potential "shoot" situation between Hardcore Holly and Rene Dupree.
In the match that featured Suzuki/Dupree vs. Hardcore Holly/Charlie Haas, Holly apparently hit Dupree with an extremely stiff chairshot and followed up with some legitimate punches. Fans who were in the arena claim that Dupree had some swelling and indications of injury around his eye

Hey Chris That was suppose to be punishment for what happened with Dupree but alot of people are saying that Holly isnt being punished at all and I have to agree There was also talk of him jobbing to local talent in dark matches. For me, the problem is that from everything I can gather... Dupree deserved to be smacked around a bit. Not to the degree that it happened and certainly not in the ring, but getting a ticket in someone else's rental car is just asking for some sort of payback.

Someone deserved to be smacked around? Sounds pretty weak to me. I can see in the case of a child-abuser, a good smacking is in order, but a speeding ticket in a rental car is something else. I wonder if I'd get punished if I whipped up on somebody on my job because they did something stupid?

You beat me to that reply, Traviz! I think that catching a beatdown over a speeding ticket is a slight case of overkill.

You beat me to that reply, Traviz! I think that catching a beatdown over a speeding ticket is a slight case of overkill. Which is why I included "not to the degree that it happened" and "not in public". In summary: Dupree: Screwed up and needed a smack. Holly: Smacked way too friggin' hard.

So if my kid gets a ticket driving my car I should kick his ass? But not too hard.
They should send Puder after Holly. To hell with him.

Hey, let's face it. They were both wrong.
There's no way that Dupree should have gotten the ticket in someone else's rental car and then thrown it away (which forced the police to track down who rented it). That forced Holly to have to fly back to the town Dupree got the ticket in (on his own nickel) and pay a larger fine.
That being said, Holly should not have handled it the way he did. I wish he had handled it more like WWE treated him by giving him a little humility by forcing him to work with the TE "girls" in last week's segment.
