do you know how much wwe 24/7 costs a month? Judging from what I can gather from the official site, it's free if your digital cable provider is up for it. Just a guess, though.

Vince has been wanting to do it since he bought out WCE and ECW. I'm hoping it's free and hoping Directv will carry it, liable to be more popular with his fans than current WWE programming.

Right now WWE 24/7 runs in only one market, that being through digital cable in a part of PA. It's essentially a subscription channel sort of like HBO or Cinemax. The cost is $7 a month.
The ultimate goal is to have it available around the country through BOTH digital cable and Direct TV by March. That's why Vince has started to roll out commercials for the service now...to build a drum beat of demand coinciding with Wrestlemainia. Whether or not the price will be uniform in all markets remains to be seen. Right now it's a learning process to gage desired shows and level of demand in terms of pricing.
From what I've seen much of the content is edited and strategically clipped. Things like old Nitros, PPV's, MSG and Boston house show cards, etc. do not air in their entirety. Even 'slow points' of matches and segments with entrance music (due to royalty issues) get clipped. My preference is for everything being shown in it's entirety although I may be in the minority and it may not be feasible for various reasons.
All things considered I'd say it's a bargain for the price.

It's quite possible that a lot of the older footage exists only in the clipped forms. When combined with the various royalty issues, I guess I understand why most events are hacked up. $7/month would indeed be a great deal if I weren't already paying like $100/month (not counting PPV but possibly including internet -- I'm not sure, since my wife actually pays that particular bill) for my digital cable... of which I use maybe a dozen channels.
