There has been rumors going around about the WWE bring back the War Games Match possibly tonight at Survivor Series
I would like to see this match back except I dont think Vince would do the match right and it will be horrible
What do you think?

I am right there with ya...Vince would botch it worse than Bischoff did in '98 and Russo did in '00.

I don't know why people are so obsessed with the idea that Vince is going to somehow tarnish the legacy of a match idea that wasn't all that great to begin with. Over the years, I think that the Survivor Series has produced far better matches than the War Games series.
In all fairness to Vince McMahon, he knows how to put together good matches and put them on a show. The main reason many in internet-land are so critical of him is because he is the biggest game in town. I have been watching TNA very consistently since they began running PPVs over two years ago, and I have seen some pretty damned crappy matches, terrible angles, and even worse finishes, yet I read people praising the product as if Jerry Jarrett is on the verge of re-creating the wheel. The fact is that if McMahon was selling the same second-rate product as the Jarretts he would be run out of the business.

The point is that Vince will spit on on every last vestige of WCW if given the chance. It's the reason Sting would be INSANE to sign with the WWE.
WWE can be entertaining, yes...but I have fallen asleep during Raw three weeks in a row right now.
Give me TNA's crappy Last Team Standing match over Simon Dean's 20 minute fat joke fest any day of the week.
And I have seen PLENTY of WWE praise and TNA bashing.
Fact is, any time in my life when I have had an alternative to the WWF/E, I watched it. I have never loved the product...I love pro wrestling, and the WWE has at times, especially recently, been my only choice for a "fix".
And, so you know, I hated the Russo era of WCW...when he tried to water it down into WWF-lite.
This has nothing to do with "who's on top"...this has everything to do with entertainment. And the 6 minute Ultimate X kicks ANY Mae Young/Fabulous Moolah segment out the door, easy.
And incidentally...I happen to think of the Wargames as one of the most brutal stable matches possible. Classc wargames has always been sheer fun for me.
Your mileage may vary.

Word is that HHH pushed for the RAW SS match to be War Games, but Vince didn't like the idea since it's not one of his creations.
And as fun as it would have been... I kinda agree with him from a WWE standpoint. They already have Hell in a Cell plus the Elimination Chamber... do we really need another special cage match?
So why did I vote "yes" on this thing? Because I'd rather we never see the EC again, as it's too complicated.

Vince will screw it up fast. I hope he doesn't do it. This match is supposed to a long drag cage match na dI have a feeling that he would make it into a 20 minute match. Triple H will win it anyways

The biggest problem that I had with war games was that the match always seemed to consist of 9 stars and one midcarder, gee...I wounder who's going to submitt? If the WWE fixes this problem, definetly bring it back. It's a great concept.
