In fed there's a yearly Manager battle royal where the winner gets a title shot for any title for any wrestler or team in his stable. That's how Cornette got the Midnight Express the shot that got them the strangle hold on the belts.

Heenan would regularly wrestle in an opening match, then be back later to manage his guys. I always liked when Heenan came to ringside with his guys, still wearing his singlet from his own match, but with a coat over it, to look more "managerial".

I don't mind those managers having wrestling stats, it can make for interesting angles where they can be indirectly involved in matches like 3 man tags or at a pay per view with some kind of angle etc. I'd like to see a commisioner card of some sort, it's the one thing LOW lacks at the moment.

That's how Cornette got the Midnight Express the shot that got them the strangle hold on the belts. I think that's a great idea and I may use it myself in my own fed. I agree with those who like having wrestling stats on the backs of the cards for the managers who really did periodically wrestle during their managerial careers. On the preview for my next Smackdown card, I already announced earlier this week that the Road Warriors and Fabulous Kangaroos will be teaming up to take on the Midnight Express (Bobby Eaton, Stan Lane, Dennis Condrey) and their manager Jim Cornette in an 8 man tag team match. In the past I've also had matches witth the stipulation that if a wrestler won he got to wrestle the manger of his opponent (at my Backlash PPV last year Frank Gotch got to wrestle Bobby Heenan after Gotch defeated Harley Race-managed by Heenan at the time- as part of a storyline I was doing at the time of Frank Gotch vs The Heenan Family).

I agree with it being about that time to add an official Authority Figure ala Commissioner Carter.
I mean you can always just say someone on the roster is the "Commissioner" and write him into the storyline, but to have an official card with chart on the back would be cool.
Maybe a Bill Watts, or Jack Tunney card.
