I really like the Koko B Ware. For Missing Link you could maybe to a close up of his green eyes. Might be kinda cool. I like billy's idea to get Sabu's scars onto the design. btw I am in school for graphic design right now.

Thank you for sharing. I have said it before and I will say it again and again. I have lived 68 years and can proudly say that the generosity and thoughtfulness that comes from the members on this this board and those who play this game are matched by none. I thank you for sharing. I hope that each letter on this board is a payment for your generosity. For some it is all they can give. You have a talent and you share. My hat is off to you. Thanks for the kind words Frank. I admit, I'm not expert in this, but I always think it's something neat for people to see. Gives the cards a different perspective. The weird thing about it though, we see Kaz or GBB sharing their GWF stars and everyone has their own interpretations. But at least in my book, everyone knows what the legends should look like. Sometimes, It's finding a good background to make it stand out.

Yeah these are pretty amazing. Do you do graphic design for work? Well, you could say that. I went to school for it. But work at UPS and now work in communications for them. We do the newspaper, posters, design work. So its not the only thing I do. I really got lucky on this job. I can play on photoshop when waiting for stuff to print out because have to stay around and reload the printer, etc. Pike...always, good luck in doing that. I'll be honest...I learned about..hmmmm.... 2% in school of what I know now. Best thing you can do is do it on your own and learn. Programs are expensive (Photoshop, Quark, Illustrator, etc), but if you can play at home, you learn sooo much quicker.

I've made a few updates on some of the suggestions...they were some good ones as well!!! Nice hearing creative thoughts from everyone! Bruiser Brody - Added some chains in the background with some crazy lines added as well. Sabu - I put some barb wire and some scars on Sabu's body The Missing Link - Trying to find the right background for him...I thought this worked out pretty decent. The Iron Sheik - Added the Iran flag in the background (better be glad i didn't add any pics of him giving Brian Blair the Camel Clutch in the background! )

GWFfanTrav,
I thank you for all of your contributions to this board for LOW. First you gave us your AWESOME interference charts for the managers/valets in LOW and now we get to see your incredible coloring!

I think the Destroyer ended up pretty decent. I was going to turn out to be a boring card, but I remembered the shirt Destroyer wears..."Bridging the Gap" T-shirt. I thought it would be a good touch to it.

Son of a bee sting, how did I miss these!?!?
Man, I would've posted this message right when I first clicked on this thread, but I spent the last 40 minutes in an awe-induced coma.
Amazing work my friend. Know I truly feel lucky having you give me a little helping hand on my little bootleg project.

On my thread The Destroyer didn't come out right. His fingers are the right color but the rest seems to have a dark screen over it. Would you be willing to mail The Destroyer to me? Does anyone have a drawing of Dusty Rhodes?

Thank You

Great job coloring the cards, Trav. Really looks professional.
My favorite ones are Bruiser Brody and Johnny Valentine, but all of them are clean as hell.

I have most of the cards done from months adn months but just started posting them. I just started adding backgrounds and already had that US one from another project. I'll have to do that with Japan as well. Great suggestion and I'll always listen to more. Love that feedback.

Our editor is on maternity leave and I'm doing extra work. LIke I said, most of these cards have been done for months, I was just bored and put in backgrounds which take about 5 minutes each (if that) Wed is my slow day...I hope to start up on it again bad.

I'm just throwing out ideas to anyone..please feel free to respond.
I have colored versions of Hack, Stranger, Gotch, etc. (old school guys). But I thought I may put a veryyy light brown overlay over it to make it look like the pictures have been in some old trunk for years. I'll make the sides kind of ripped up...so it'll look old.
I think this would be a good added effect to it.
I also have to say I'm blatently stealing an idea from GBB for my Road Warriors card (which should be all three of them attached). I hope it turns out.
