Okay, I know it's been about a month since you all last heard from Trent Lawless, but he's finally back, and I think you'll be pleased with where this one is heading. The top 5 tag teams are profiled, as deemed by Trent, and Trent has managed to tick somebody off enough that they've called him out and want to face him down on his own program next time! Any guesses who it is? Go to lawless.libsyn.com and remove all doubt! As always, click on the "Pod" link and wait about 5 minutes or so and the show will start up. And as always, it's a little under 20 minutes long. Trent may not appreciate any comments, but I do.

Trent never fail to impress. The Jesterelli interview should be gold, and I agree totally that these 2 (or just the Comedic one) need a new direction, rather than being given up on.
On the top 5 tag scene (which I was the FIRST to request by the way, do I have a little pull at CPC?!?!), The Punks are my boys (4-Time CPC TTotY, no one else has eclipsed 2), and I think they could be back on top for a while to come yet. Although I can't disagree with the Legacy at #2 (and probably could have easily seem them at #1), the comments about the Sons are a little distressing. Dante has been heaped praised for basically becoming the singles version of these 2, but when Jack and Scion look for a little love they get the goody-goody line. Really, what was Scion doing without Jack? He was a lost sheep. The King's Men, and Jack in particular, have made him matter again. If I remember correctly, Scion debuted around 2110, so he could tag with Jack for 5 more years, and still have a strong Cruiser run left in with light years more experience, talent, and class. I do agree that if they stick together too long, it will end ugly. But I also think that Jack does have one more mentor partner left in his future before he hangs up the boots go up for good (he debuted at 19 I believe). It seemed for a while that that person would be Gunnar, and maybe Jack's inability to see anyone stray will make that happen in a few years, but Gunnar is really coming into his own, and it would a step backwards for him.
The last thing I have to say, could Trent PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE maybe give us one little scoop on the impending return of the one and only SABOTEUR. Also, on a personal note, give him the talent to face Shylock in the proper blood feud they deserve. I know that hasn't been Saboteur's game to this point, but after all the history (and waiting), HE HAS to be the one to step up to the plate and fight this battle. Having a manager, tag partner, or Rhiannon counterpart (if not Rhiannon herself) would not hurt the feud; but the focus, the fight, is SHYLOCK and SABOTEUR, anything less just won't allow this to be the all-time classic we've been watching and loving since 2112.
Thanks again for a great show, the characters in the CPC are so much deeper for these efforts, and it only benefits the Fed as it continues (thank god) to be allowed to continue.

Wow, Troy great call, I can't believe Scion has been here that long already. I'll stand by my assertion that he could end his career in a Switchblade type way after another year or 2 with Jack. I'm just a fan of the tag team, they are great reps for the CPC, it's talent and image. I typically don't call for overly long careers, but Jack just feels like he's earned a few more years before "manager oblivion". Remember he has spent a solid part of his career in tag, so it could be argued that his overall health is better than his age might suggest.
