I am in a dilemma considering my CPC Title. I have only had 2 Champs since starting a CPC, and that was Raven and Puma. Raven lost the belt to Puma when Rubicon destroyed him and Raven left the fed. Now Puma is downgraded 2120 and gone in 2121 so I am wondering what I should do. I am kind of resistant of stripping the title, but the book does say he disappears for awhile. Also too how do I crown a new champ. I don't really like tournaments but this kind of screams out for one, especially with the new concept. I did a royal rumble for the GWF title a few years ago that came out good but..... Puma was a good card so I'd like to hear some ideas on how he was changed over in your feds, especially if he was the champ. Thanks.

Or perhaps if you feel you don't want a lengthy tournament, but have several contenders then perhaps a Fatal Four Way or 6 Pack Challenge.

Does Puma have the belt still after his downgrade? If not then have him defend the title until its lost.

I'm hesitant to do this becuase needless to say (probably) whoever is picked to fight him will win the belt. I don't have a lot of history with this title and I want to make sure its a good title holder this time.

I agree. It is what it is...if you are a creative guy, you can turn this into a good story...
Just have him defend it vs. Rubicon or someone.
It is what it is...

to add to that...I respect that you want to be sure you have strong title holders etc...
but...
sometimes you gotta let the dice do their thing...
otherwise there's no point in playing the game.

Good points from Swarm. Have him face Rubicon, it makes the most sense storyline wise and you get a good champ.

I still hope Puma returns to his old form and gets in the mix with Mensar, Shylock, Euritar, and Saboteur.

Ok ... can I throw in this is why I like Mark and spoilers ... I currently wrote off Puma. I really liked him but wrote him out like Mark does in CPC. Now I can start to drop hints of his demise may be premature ...

Well, I wrote in the last handbook that Barnabas was in a bind over Prodigy's no-teams rule. Barnabas couldn't get Puma to function well enough in the ring on his own, and he just wasn't ready enough, or good enough, to be let loose and hope he wouldn't wind up turning on him without Barnabas' controlling hand behind the scenes (or for Gila and his old friends to snatch him back). He's not about to give up on his "greatest experiment" that easily. So he brought Puma back to the lab to work on him some more. I was never going to write him off. His return was always planned. And something tells me he may be even tougher than before...
And don't think Gila, Talon, and the crew have forgotten about him, either. They really want him back.

Well I was just saying GOOD ... now I know more things and I can plan for what I want to do in my federation. This is why I dont think this game works good with secrets so to speak. I can take what your saying and now plan a HUGE return of Puma now. Shall we say December or later?

I think it's pretty safe to say you'll see him with the next set (November hopefully). But that's all you're getting out of me!

I really used to like Puma. I do not like his new card. I am looking forward to a new Puma and a conclusion to this story.
