I think he should run with it. It's had great success for me! Thanks for the comments, Aquinas. So far for me Gunnar has been the guy from the new set with the best record, believe it or not. But Euritar and Dante are doing pretty well, too. Mensar had a loss to Stigma that set him back some, as Stigma is in a slump for me at the moment.

I completely, in the impromptu post, forgot about Gunnar.....there's an example of a character I found bland and booted out of the CPC, until the new card. I brought him back and he's been doing extremely well.
I love Mensar, but he's hovering around .500 right now for me. Euritar has owned him.

Just bought the set on Friday. Hopefully will be in soon. Can't wait for this as it sets a fed the way I normally do it anyway. Never cared for the whole team thing, but use them for Wargames type matchups and Survivor series. Or when the feud tables come up. Otherwise I just run it without stable feuds

I just received 2121 in the mail, and after reading the handbook and perusing the cards, I have to say that this is definitely the best cPc edition to date. I am a big fan of the 'no teams' concept, and this was well executed. The storylines were great, my favorite in particular being Thayne's return and the dramatic turn of Gunnar. The updates on the Punks was fantastic and well deserved. Dante is a friggin' beast now. Not a dramatic change in either Mensar and Euritar's cards, which is a good thing, because I do not think they should be downgraded just because they are in the cPc. Overall the wrestler cards are well written.
Still not too sure about Crucible, but I am sure I'll warm up to him.

Mark I was wondering I noticed there are no Add 1 moves on any of the new cards?

Mensar and Euritar originally had them, but Tom asked me to either nix them or alter something else on the card (like reduce the finisher rating or add a down-3). I opted to drop the Add 1s on both because I felt that was the fairest thing to do.
And glad you like, Turkish.

I think there are too many wrestlers with "Add 1" moves out there. It is less unique now, sort of expected on cards. This (cPc 2121) set was a great example of solid, well written gaming cards without the need for the "Add 1" moves.

Mike I did not mean for you to feel that I was jumping down your throat- I certainly was not and I did not mean for you to take my comment that way. I merely used you question as a soapbox for me to gripe on an issue that has bugged me for a while now. Sorry for any misunderstanding.

I just started CPC 2121 yesterday, and it does, in fact, rock. Mensar and Euritar are both solid, top-level guys in the old-school design mold, which is cool, and Crucible more than gives me my wacky mechanics fix. The way you figure up whether his opponents are weak or not is outstanding. Kudos, Mark!

Mensar's been having problems in my fed, but Dante is red hot beating everyone. He's got a CPC title shot on my next card.

Love CPC 2121. Just had my first five star match of the year with Zed Marlowe and Brainstorm in a championship v.s championship match (Interstellar-Brainstorm;Cruiserweight-Zed Marlowe) I love the no teams and the President/Commisioner conflicts going on in the fed at the moment. Things are definetly on fire in my CPC.

Man I couldn't agree more Darwins Legacy might be the greatest tag team in the history of COTG, but the PUNKS have been all over them!!! Could this be the greatest tag battle ever??

The Punks had good success initially against Legacy for me, taking the belts off them, but they lost them back and have now been struggling a bit. They're back to #2 contender status behind the Sons of Royalty. We'll see if they can climb back to the mountaintop.
I really really wish I could've done a Theatre of Pain/Darwin's Legacy feud at some point, because they're by far the most dominant teams in my CPC's history.

you know, the CPC just seems to be a little underrated in comparison to the GWF and the growing fan base of the aCe, but in reality, the CPC has to be the best federation overall! I mean, the talent is good, plenty of top notched guys and mid carders, great storyline that is the driving force behind it. Taking nothing away from Tom or Osk, but they've got their work cut out for them to top the CPC right now!!! just my 2 cents on that! Ray
