Since he seems to be winning the teaser poll, what does everyone predict for the Mensan big guy?

Hopefully big things. Like another kick ass card stats. Su did a great pic of him before, and I'd love to see what Darryl does for him. Will he still have Cordanus as his manager?

He better have as good if not better stats than before...He is in his prime and his card should show that!

In the Promoter, the preview states that he will be coming without Cordanus. As much as I love Cordanus, Mark's reasoning for keeping him out makes a lot of sense.

Agreed. In my opinion, both Mensar and Euritar should be able to whup up on anyone this side of Monolith.

I'm glad to see Mensar be a big player in the CPC but that drawing is definitely not one of my favorites.

His face doesn't look anything like his original drawing which was one of the best COTG drawings ever. I like the pose he has and the rest of his body looks good, but I don't like the face.

I agree with Payback on the face. He just doesn't have that same edge to his look. I think its in the eyes, as the old eyes made him almost soul-less. The body for the full art looks great though. I'm sure I will enjoy using the new card. Him and Euritar have already started their war in my CPC.

Can't wait for CPC 2121, I really like the art for Mensar, but have to agree with Payback as well. He seems to have lost that menasing look, but hey he has also been gone for awhile, just glad to see him back.

Good body drawing, but I think the face has lost some of its great look. Still, if he has awesome stats, that will go a long way to fixing things.

The new art doesn't have the same edge as the older one, but I think it's a fine pic. Very stylized.

I'm mildly disappointed too. There is nothing inherently wrong with the artwork, but it really doesn't look like Mensar.

I think if this was a brand new character no one would have a problem with his picture at all. But this is Mensar, a guy most of us absolutely loved who was taken away from us too soon. And now, finally, after years of waiting we finally get a new card for a returning Mensar in his prime ...

Its a good drawing, it's just hard to live up to HUGE expectations.

I agree that Jeremy's drawing of Mensar was top-shelf and that Mr. Banks has taken him in a different direction. While there are some who are disappointed, I remember the same reaction to Monolith's art preview. That disappointment virtually disappeared once the set came out, and I'll predict that people will love Mensar if the storyline and stats match the hype.

Mensar is gonna rule CPC.......a Mensar and Euritar FEUD!!!!! WOW, the art is ok with me. So he's not as pissed anymore, he's a little older and more confident in his abililty's. I just hope the card stats are up to the man!!

OK, so the drawing has me going "meh" too, but I do have a question about it. Didn't Mensar's orriginal drawing have an eye patch or something? I seem to recall his only having one eye. I don't have the card in easy reach to look for my self at the moment.

I think that he did.... but maybe we can just chalk that up to a "ceremonial Mensan eye cover" or something. Maybe he's just tired of it now.

I liked the drawing for the most part,as far as the whole body.The face was alright,it's just he does look alot less menaceing than the gwf drawing,but i agree if the storyline and card stats are great then everybody will forget about the face.I can't wait for the new set.

I'm in the minority - I like the new pic better. Nothing against Jeremy Su, but all of his guys look broody. It's nice to see some expression to the face, and the new pic makes him look more like a big guy. Can't wait for CPC 2121!
