CARD 112: AWE TV Taping on Saturday December 4, 2010 @ the Soldatna Sports Center in Soldatna AK
Over the PA system came a very familiar sound: "WWWhatarush!" It rang in the new FLW World Tag Team Champions Animal & Hawk, the Legion of Doom! The L.O.D. hit the ring, wearing both the FLW World Tag Team Belts and the AWE Tag Team Belts! The crowd was instantly electrified as these two great grapplers posed for the crowd!
Hawk grabbed a microphone and bellowed, "Horsemen! You want to take on the greatest team in the FLW, the greatest team ever? Come on down, boys! We'll set you up right now!"
"That's right, Hawk!" Animal yelled as he took the mic from Hawk. "Everyone knew the L.O.D. was destined to dominate the FLW tag tournament, and we did just that! Now the Road Warriors are not gonna shy away from nobody! Tell 'em, Hawk!"
"D-X! Horsemen! nWo! You are all on notice! The Road Warriors are takin' down names and takin' care of business!"
Just then, Arn Anderson & Ric Flair blasted onto the scene and attacked the Road Warriors! It was pure mayhem in the ring! Security had to come down and break it up after several minutes of action outside the ring!
MATCH 1: Verne Gagne VS Triple H Proving the better grappler this time around, Gagne disposed of Triple H without much trouble. Verne Gagne won with his finisher-GAGNE SLEEPER in a time of 5:08.
MATCH 2: Rick & Scott Steiners VS Scott Hall & Kevin Nash (Outsiders, with Bischoff) An even match-up that almost went the distance, but a brawl out of the ring ended it in a DQ. Scott Hall & Kevin Nash won when Rick was disqualified against Nash in a time of 26:58.
MATCH 3: AWE Television Champion The Rock VS "Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels -- Non-title bout The Rock did not know what hit him as Michaels used his favorite move two times in a row to win! Shawn Michaels won by using his finisher-SWEET CHIN MUSIC two times in a row in a time of 5:30, thus Shawn Michaels receives a Title Bout on the next fight card!
MATCH 4: Bob Backlund VS "Sycho" Sid Vicious Sid was ill-prepared for this match, as Backlund out-wrestled Vicious to take the victory here. Bob Backlund won with his finisher-ATOMIC KNEE DROP in a time of 5:06.
MATCH 5: AWE Heavyweight Champion Jimmy "Superfly" Snuka VS Ultimate Warrior -- Non-title bout Always a huge bundle of energy, Warrior was able to use that energy to plant Snuka for the win! Ultimate Warrior won with his finisher-WARRIOR PRESS & SPLASH in a time of 1:27, thus Ultimate Warrior receives a Title Bout on the next fight card!
Hulk Hogan looked thouroughly despondant. A look of total disbelief was on his face as he tried to talk to his daughter, Brooke, backstage. "Look, honey. I can't tell you what to do anymore, but you must realize that Randy Savage is up to no good. He's been a pain in my side for as long as I remember."
"Daddy, you CAN'T tell me what to do, that's right," Brooke agreed. "Randy and I are in love. He's been so kind to me ever since we hooked up. He's what I need in my life right now. Can't you just be happy for us?"
"I can't believe he's not going to end up hurting you," the Hulkster replied. "Can't you see he's just doing this to get back at me?"
"He's not like that at all," Brooke countered. "If you got to know him, you'd see why I love him."
Just then (of course), Randy Savage attacked the Hulkster and they battled out to the ring where they were scheduled for the next match.
MATCH 6: Hulk Hogan VS Randy "Macho Man" Savage -- Chain Match Much like he did at the FLW Pay-Per-View, Hulk dominated the match and picked up the victory. Hulk Hogan won with his finisher-LEG DROP in a time of 9:50.
MATCH 7: AWE Tag Team Champions Animal & Hawk (Legion of Doom) VS Arn Anderson & Ric Flair -- TITLE BOUT The Horsemen team made a comeback but it was not enough to derail the LOD's offensive here! Animal & Hawk won when Animal pinned Flair after Hawk used his tag finisher-DOOMSDAY DEVICE in a time of 10:52, thus Animal & Hawk retained the AWE Tag Team Belts!

That Brooke/Savage stuff is something else. It'll be interesting to see how that all works out. I get a kick out of seeing Verne and Triple H open a show. Any one of these matches would be a main event anywhere in the country, as Gorilla used to say.

Thanks for the replies! Here's another big fight card, with the Pay-Per-View scheduled for New Year's Eve!
CARD 113: AWE TV Taping on Friday December 24, 2010 @ the Sullivan Arena in Anchorage AK
Brooke Hogan came out of the dressing room and made her way to the ring with "Macho Man" Randy Savage. Once in the ring, Savage spoke into the microphone and said, "Oooooooo yeah! Tonight's a very special night, uh huh. This is the night that will take the wrestling world by storm! Brooke dear, I have your Christmas present right here..." With that, Savage got on one knee and said, "Brooke Hogan... would you do me the honor of being my bride?"
Brooke teared up and smiled wide. She looked surprised, and answered, "Yes, Randy! Yes, my love! I will marry you!"
Of course, out of the back came Hulk Hogan to the ring. Obviously furious, Hulk was ready to pound Savage into the groud, but Brooke stopped him. "Daddy, I love him! If you love me, you won't do anything to stop us from getting married!"
Hulk Hogan stared at his daughter for a few moments, as his eyes went from burning red with hate to filled with tears for his little girl. He obeyed her wishes and slowly left ringside. Brooke turned back to Randy and asked, "When did you want to get married, honey?"
Randy replied, "At the Pay-Per-View, darling! It will be the biggest event since the birth of Macho-Mania!"
MATCH 1: Scott Steiner (with Rick Steiner) VS Bill Goldberg Not up to the task at hand, Scott faultered and fell to the power that is Goldberg in this one. Bill Goldberg won with a Cross Body Block in a time of 5:14.
MATCH 2: Scott Hall & Kevin Nash (Outsiders, with Eric Bischoff) VS Road Dogg & Billy Gunn (New Age Outlaws, with Chyna) -- Number One Contenders for AWE Tag Team Championship This was a match that could have gone either way, but in the end it was the nWo that triumphed. Scott Hall & Kevin Nash won when Hall pinned Road Dogg with a Fallaway Slam in a time of 20:22, thus Scott Hall & Kevin Nash receive a Title Bout for the AWE Tag Team Belts at the Pay-Per-View!
Enter the new FLW World Heavyweight Champion, THE UNDERTAKER! The Undertaker walked down to the ring with his usual fanfare, lighting effects and music. He greeted the cheering crowd with, "For eons, there was only one goal that The Undertaker needed to fulfill his destiny: That was to win the FLW World Heavyweight Belt, and now that I have it, no one will take it from me. If they try, may they rest in --" But he was cut off, as "Sycho" Sid Vicious made his way down to the ring, wearing that fake, plastic FLW World Heavyweight Belt that he must have had stored in storage somewhere.
"Undertaker!" Sid blasted. "I beat you in a Buried Alive match not too long ago! You're right: this IS a time for destiny! But it's MY destiny we're talking about! I want a shot at that Belt! And I want it TONIGHT!"
"Sid Vicious," The Undertaker calmly replied. "You will have your match tonight, but it will be a non-title bout. If you don't like that, then go away and let more worthy contenders challenge me for this Belt."
"I will take you on, Undertaker! Non-title or not, that Belt is mine!"
MATCH 3: 8-man Battle Royal for the Number One contenders for AWE Heavyweight & TV Belts Participants -- Arn Anderson, Bob Backlund, Ric Flair, Verne Gagne, Hulk Hogan, Rick Steiner, Randy Savage, and Triple H.
Order of Elimination: Randy Savage eliminated by Bob Backlund Hulk Hogan eliminated by Triple H Rick Steiner eliminated by Arn Anderson Arn Anderson eliminated by Verne Gagne Triple H eliminated by Bob Backlund Ric Flair eliminated by Verne Gagne Bob Backlund eliminated by Verne Gagne
Verne Gagne won the Battle Royal and receives a Title Bout for the AWE Heavyweight Belt at the Pay-Per-View, while Bob Backlund receives a Title Bout for the AWE Television Belt at the Pay-Per-View!
Before the Title Bout for the AWE Television Belt took place, Eric Bischoff was in the ring with Bill Goldberg. He called done Triple H to the ring. When Triple H arrived, Bischoff stated, "As per our agreement, Triple H, Bill Goldberg's services are now yours. In exchange, the nWo will get the wrestler we have agreed upon?"
"Indeed the nWo will, Eric," Triple H replied. "The fans won't believe their eyes when they see who's going to be in the nWo now! It'll send shockwaves through the wrestling world! And we're going to shock the world tonight!" The three men shook hands, and they left the ring.
MATCH 4: PIN ANYWHERE -- AWE Television Champion The Rock VS "Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels -- TITLE BOUT This was all Shawn as he took it to The Rock and was able to win this match inside the ring! Shawn Michaels won when The Rock ran face-first into the turnbuckle in a time of 2:40, thus Shawn Michaels is the NEW AWE Television Champion for the first time!
After Shawn won the match, he took off the t-shirt he was wearing to reveal --
-- that HE was the new member of the nWo!
Eric Bischoff greeted him and placed the AWE Television Belt around Shawn's waist. Bischoff said, "It's great to have you in the nWo, Shawn Michaels! You will be the singles star in the nWo that you wanted to be in D-X!"
"Thanks, Eric!" Michaels said with a smile. "I dedicate this match to my new nWo teammates! May it not be the last Belt we see in the days to come!"
MATCH 5: FLW World Heavyweight Champion The Undertaker VS "Sycho" Sid Vicious -- Non-title bout Undertaker was stunned by an early Power Bomb, but then Sid lost his temper and lost the match. The Undertaker won when Vicious was disqualified in a time of 19:53.
MATCH 6: DOG COLLAR -- AWE Heavyweight Champion Jimmy "Superfly" Snuka VS Ultimate Warrior -- TITLE BOUT Snuka's mobility was severely hampered here and Warrior took advantage and won the Belt! Ultimate Warrior won with a Flying Double Ax Handle in a time of 2:51, and so Ultimate Warrior is the NEW AWE Heavyweight Champion for the first time!

Thanks for the reply, CC! Read on!
CARD 114: AWE PPV on Friday December 31 , 2010 @ the Carlson Center in Fairbanks AK
Brooke Hogan was in the dressing room with her father. Brooke was dressed in her mother's wedding dress and looked stunningly beautiful (and feminine for a change)! Brooke's father looked extremely stressed and was pacing around. "Now Dad, you promised not to interrupt my wedding. I expect you to keep that promise." The Hulkster simply nodded and lowered his head. He knew he should not interfere with his daughter's happiness. Brooke said, "Good. Everything will be just fine then, don't worry. Now help zip me up." The Hulkster complied as he shook his head with tears in his eyes.
MATCH 1: Scott Steiner VS "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson After a furious battle in the ring, Rick Steiner got his brother DQed when he interfered in this one. Arn Anderson won when Scott Steiner was disqualified in a time of 25:48.
MATCH 2: Hulk Hogan VS "Sycho" Sid Vicious -- TABLES MATCH No problem for the Hulkster here as he picked up a rather easy win over Vicious this time out. Hulk Hogan won with his finisher-LEG DROP in a time of 5:39.
MATCH 3: "Dogface Gremlin" Rick Steiner VS Triple H Each of the respective team members charged the ring here as this disintegrated fairly quickly. Both wrestlers were disqualified in a time of 4:04.
MATCH 4: HOME RUN DERBY -- AWE Tag Team Champs Animal & Hawk (Road Warriors) VS Scott Hall & Kevin Nash (The Outsiders) -- TITLE BOUT The Outsiders were no match for the champions, as Kevin Nash lost this one for his team here! Animal & Hawk won when Animal pinned Nash after Hawk's tag finisher-DOOMSDAY DEVICE in a time of 1:18, thus Animal & Hawk retained the AWE Tag Team Belts!
MATCH 5: Jimmy "Superfly" Snuka VS "Nature Boy" Ric Flair The leader of the Horsemen took it upon himself to dispose of the Superfly in a timely manner. Ric Flair won with his finisher-FIGURE-FOUR LEGLOCK in a time of 2:31.
MATCH 6: STEEL CAGE -- AWE Television Champ "HBK" Shawn Michaels VS Bob Backlund -- TITLE BOUT HBK was riding high on his recent acquisition of the TV Belt and he was not going to lose it here! Shawn Michaels won with a Spinning Leg Lariat in a time of 4:32, thus Shawn Michaels retained the AWE Television Belt!
MATCH 7: The Rock VS Bill Goldberg Changing affiliations did not produce any different results for Goldberg as he lost very quickly. The Rock won with his finisher-ROCK BOTTOM in a time of just 0:56!
MATCH 8: PIN ANYWHERE -- AWE Heavyweight Champion Ultimate Warrior VS Verne Gagne -- TITLE BOUT Both were in for the fight of their lives here as muscle overcame brains, as Warrior won this time! Ultimate Warrior won with his finisher-WARRIOR PRESS & SPLASH in a time of 18:19, thus Ultimate Warrior retained the AWE Heavyweight Belt!
The moment had finally arrived! As "Here Comes the Bride" played over the PA system, Randy Savage (dressed as the "Macho King" but with a tuxedo jacket on) looked more agitated than happy. He was about to see his plans come to fruitition. Final revenge against Hulk Hogan was at hand, finally! The ultimate humiliation for the one man that Savage could not stomach! Thinking of this, though, made Savage smile.
Brooke made her way to the ring slowly. She was all smiles! And why shouldn't she be? This was the biggest and happiest day of her life! She was marrying a man she thought loved her, and her father was not going to interrupt the wedding. Her mother was there for her in the front row, along with her brother. Things for Brooke were perfect! Her dad was shown on the giant videoscreen above the locker room entrance. Brooke had made sure her dad did not have a microphone on him (or anywhere near him) in case he broke his promise and tried to interfere.
The ceremony started without a hitch. Finally, the moment of truth had arrived. When the priest said, "If anyone knows why these two should not be married, let them speak now or forever hold their peace," there was a moment of silence. Brooke looked at the giant videoscreen to see if her dad was going to say something, but the Hulkster did not make a move. Brooke smiled and asked the priest to continue.
BUT THEN --
"Randy." It was the voice of reason in this crazy moment. It was the only voice that could ruin Brooke's day and her wedding.
Elizabeth appeared under the giant videoscreen. Tears were streaming down her face. "Randy," she said again. "You know in your heart you don't love Brooke. You're just using her to get revenge on Terry. That was years ago, Randy. It's time to let it go. You also know in your heart that you don't love Brooke. You know Brooke isn't your one true love. You know that I am your one true love. I ask you not to go through with this farce any longer."
Randy Savage looked at Elizabeth with a million emotions brought to the surface. Brooke kept silent. She knew deep down that Elizabeth was correct.
After a long moment, Brooke bowed her head and said to Randy, "Go to her. She's right."
Randy stood there for a moment, not knowing what to do. Should he lie to Brooke and tell her he did love her and go on with the wedding to finish his revenge plot? Should he apologize to Brooke for using her? Randy knew he had to follow his heart. Revenge was for another day. Savage began up the aisle toward Elizabeth. And then...
-- WHAM!!
Elizabeth was knocked to the floor by a sneak attack by Bill Goldberg! Goldberg pointed at Savage and shouted, "You're next!" He then disappeared into the back. Savage immediately went after Goldberg! Brooke raced to Elizabeth to see if she was all right, as the fans realized 2011 would bring about more unpredictable things in the FLW's greatest and most exciting promotion ever!
But questions still linger: What does Goldberg have against Savage? Is Brooke ever going to forgive Savage? Is true love truly going to conquer all in the Savage / Elizabeth relationship? If D-X, which now includes Goldberg, goes after Savage, who will help out Savage in this feud? Also, who will prove worthy enough to beat the FLW World Heavyweight Champion The Undertaker? Who will ever beat the Road Warriors for the FLW World Tag Belts? How long before AWE goes bankrupt from paying all those high salaries? Is 2011 going to be even better than 2010? All these questions and more to be asked and answered in 2011!
Be here!

Thanks for the replies! Here's yet another reason AWE is Number One:
CARD 115: AWE House Show on Monday January 10, 2011 @ the Curtis D. Menard Memorial Sports Center in Wasilla AK
"Hey, yo!" Scott Hall called out as he stood next to Kevin Nash in the center of the ring. "Big, bad Road Warriors. Hey, we want a rematch, Chico. We want to show the world you just got lucky at the Pay-Per-View."
Nash added, "The nWo just had an off-night, that's all. We are ready for you this time!"
At the locker room entrance stood "Precious" Paul Ellering and Road Warrior Animal. "Hall, Nash" Ellering said, addressing the men in the ring. "Hawk isn't here tonight, so there will be no rematch. Animal does have a partner for tonight, though. That's if you two aren't chicken to take them on?"
"Chicken? Us?" Nash questioned. "Of course, we're not chicken!"
"Who you got for a partner, mang? Big, scary Verne Gagne?" Hall joked. "That pencil-neck geek Bob Backlund?"
The lighting in the arena lowered, and a familiar sound rang out! Then the music of THE UNDERTAKER blared on the PA! The Deadman appeared, rolled his eyes white, and stood next to Animal.
"No," Animal responded. "I've got the FLW World Heavyweight Champion as a partner!"
Hall & Nash were shocked! They then discussed it over, then agreed. "Hey, yo, Animal! You're on, Chico!"
MATCH 1: Bob Backlund VS Triple H Triple H was in trouble early and relied on his partner, Goldberg, but ended up getting DQed here. Bob Backlund won when Triple H was disqualified for outside interference in a time of 3:37.
MATCH 2: Road Warrior Animal & The Undertaker (with Paul Ellering) VS Scott Hall & Kevin Nash (The Outsiders) The Outsiders caught a break when the referee decided to DQ Animal when a brawl broke out. Scott Hall & Kevin Nash won when Animal was disqualified against Nash in a time of 8:00.
MATCH 3: Jimmy "Superfly" Snuka VS "Sycho" Sid Vicious (with Bobby Heenan) Snuka’s agility was no match for the power of Sid in this one as Vicious came out with a win here. Sid Vicious won with a stiff arm clothesline in a time of 8:24.
MATCH 4: Rick Steiner VS "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson -- Lumberjack Match Multiple near-falls for each wrestler here, but then Arn took control and put an end to this one. Arn Anderson won with his finisher-GOURDEBUSTER in a time of 25:31.
Elizabeth stood between Hulk Hogan and Randy Savage. Hogan was offering a handshake to Savage, but Savage was having none of it.
"Please, Randy," Elizabeth was saying. "You will need a partner. I can't think of anyone else that could help you as much as Terry can."
"For now, I will take your help," Savage said. "But I won't shake your hand."
"Listen, Savage, I don't like it either," Hogan said. "Let's just take care of D-X and then go our separate ways."
"Yeah, we'll do that," Savage said, agreeing with him. "Just stay out of my way!" With that, Savage headed to the ring.
As Savage headed to the ring, Elizabeth said to Hogan. "Help Randy, please."
MATCH 5: "Macho Man" Randy Savage VS The Rock Hogan’s interference cost the Macho Man the match, and Savage was none too pleased here. The Rock won when Savage was disqualified for outside interference in a time of 11:45.
MATCH 6: AWE Television Champion "Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels (with Eric Bischoff) VS Scott Steiner -- Non-title bout An over-confident Michaels was ripe for the picking here as Scott got the quick win in this one! Scott Steiner won with his finisher-STEINER D.D.T. in a time of just 0:42, thus Scott Steiner receives a Title Bout on the next fight card!
MATCH 7: Verne Gagne VS Hulk Hogan Randy Savage distracted Hulk just long enough for Gagne to take advantage and get the victory. Verne Gagne won with a Gut Wrench Suplex in a time of 6:19.
MATCH 8: AWE Heavyweight Champion Ultimate Warrior VS Ric Flair -- Non-title bout Heenan must have prepped Flair well since Flair got a convincing win over the HW Champ here! Ric Flair won with his finisher-FIGURE-FOUR LEGLOCK in a time of 7:20, thus Ric Flair receives a Title Bout on the next fight card!

CARD 116: AWE TV Taping on Sunday January 16, 2011 @ the Soldatna Sports Center in Soldatna AK
"Tonight, the Horsemen party in style!" The Nature Boy said as he was surrounded by Arn Anderson and Sid Vicious. "Arn and Sid will take their first step to tag team gold tonight, then it's onto the AWE Heavyweight Belt for the Nature Boy! Tonight, the Horsemen make AWE their own! Whoo!"
MATCH 1: "Dogface Gremlin" Rick Steiner VS Bill Goldberg (with Chyna) Being unable to get the upper hand on Goldberg frustrated Rick enough that he got himself DQed. Bill Goldberg won when Rick Steiner was disqualified in a time of 10:42.
MATCH 2: Jimmy "Superfly" Snuka VS Triple H (with Chyna) Focusing in on his opponent, Triple H managed to pick up the victory against the Superfly here. Triple H won with a Facebuster in a time of 6:07.
MATCH 3: AWE Tag Team Champions Animal & Hawk (Legion of Doom, with Ellering) VS Arn Anderson & "Sycho" Sid Vicious -- Non-title bout This was over before it began as Hawk got DQed right off the bat to give the Horsemen the win! Arn Anderson & Sid Vicious won when Hawk was disqualified in a time of just 0:04, thus Arn Anderson & Sid Vicious receive a Title Bout on the next fight card!
MATCH 4: Bob Backlund VS The Rock Both wrestlers fought well defensively then it was The Rock that took the offense to the next level. The Rock won with his finisher-ROCK BOTTOM in a time of 11:51.
MATCH 5: DOG COLLAR MATCH -- AWE Television Champion Shawn Michaels VS Scott Steiner -- TITLE BOUT Reversing things suddenly on Michaels then hitting him with his favorite move got Scott the win! Scott Steiner won after using his finisher-STEINER D.D.T. in a time of 10:17, thus Scott Steiner becomes the NEW AWE Television Champion for the first time!
MATCH 6: Hulk Hogan & "Macho Man" Randy Savage (MegaPowers) VS Scott Hall & Kevin Nash (The Outsiders) Savage refused to help Hogan after Nash delivered his favorite move so Hogan was pinned here. Scott Hall & Kevin Nash won when Kevin Nash pinned Hogan after using his finisher-JACKKNIFE POWER BOMB in a time of 11:31.
MATCH 7: TABLES MATCH -- AWE Heavyweight Champion Ulitmate Warrior VS "Nature Boy" Ric Flair -- TITLE BOUT Flair's attention was distracted at a crucial time in the match so Warrior capitalized for the win!! Ultimate Warrior won with his finisher-WARRIOR PRESS & SPLASH in a time of 17:47, thus Ultimate Warrior retained the AWE Heavyweight Belt!
Someone had distracted Flair in the match! The fans were unsure who it was at first, then he stood in the spotlight after the match. It was none other than --
JOHN CENA! "Ric Flair, it's time to rid this fed of the Horsemen, and I'm just the dude to get that task done! I will be the thorn in your side for the rest of your time here in AWE! You're gonna wish Sting was here instead of me, because I will have no mercy on your wretched old carcass!"

CARD 117: AWE TV Taping on Saturday January 22, 2011 @ the Sullivan Arena in Anchorage AK
Confident as always, the Legion of Doom played to the fans as they cheered their AWE Tag Team Champions. The L.O.D. may face the always-tough Horsemen tonight for the Belts, but they did not look worried. "Horsemen," Hawk belted out. "This is your chance to take the Belts from us! You're only going to get this one shot, so you better make it count!"
"That's right, Hawk," Animal agreed. "After tonight, you're through! No more title shots for the Horsemen! We've got bigger and better opponents to dismantle! Tell 'em, Hawk!"
"Arn Anderson! Sid Vicious! Take notice! Your days in AWE are numbered! The Legion of Doom are taking names and taking care of business! Ahhhh, what a rush!"
MATCH 1: Jimmy "Superfly" Snuka VS Kevin Nash (with Eric Bischoff) Nash was obviously unprepared this time out as Snuka won easily against the nWo member. Jimmy Snuka won with a Backbreaker in a time of 1:19.
MATCH 2: "Macho Man" Randy Savage VS Scott Hall -- Pin Anywhere Match The nWo was not about to lose two in a row as Hall pulled out the victory in this match-up. Scott Hall won with his finisher-OUTSIDER'S EDGE in a time of 3:07.
MATCH 3: "Dogface Gremlin" Rick Steiner (with Scott Steiner) VS "Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels (with Eric Bischoff) This was a wild one that could have gone either way but in the end, there was no winner this time. Both wrestlers were counted-out in a time of 25:25.
MATCH 4: AWE Television Champion Scott Steiner (with Rick Steiner) VS The Rock -- Non-title bout A great battle ensued here with both wrestlers giving it their all, then Scott picked up the win! Scott Steiner won with his finisher-STEINER D.D.T. in a time of 13:50.
MATCH 5: Bob Backlund VS "Nature Boy" Ric Flair (with Bobby Heenan) Teaching Backlund a wrestling lesson was easy for the Nature Boy here as he got the victory. Ric Flair won with his finisher-FIGURE-FOUR LEGLOCK in a time of 3:01.
MATCH 6: AWE Heavyweight Champion Ultimate Warrior VS Hulk Hogan -- Non-title bout An epic battle for sure with Warrior being more pumped up than Hogan as he won this bout. Ultimate Warrior won with his finisher-WARRIOR PRESS & SPLASH in a time of 11:12.
MATCH 7: John Cena VS "The Cerebral Assassin" Triple H Cena had the upper hand most of the match, but Hunter knew how to set the trap this time out. Triple H won with his fnisher-PEDIGREE in a time of 9:11.
MATCH 8: LADDER MATCH -- AWE Tag Team Champs Animal & Hawk (Legion of Doom) VS Arn Anderson & "Sycho" Sid Vicious -- TITLE BOUT You do not stop the Horsemen when they are on a mission and there was no stopping Arn here! Arn Anderson & Sid Vicious won after Arn used his finisher-GOURDEBUSTER on Animal in a time of 1:47, thus Arn Anderson & Sid Vicious are the NEW AWE Tag Team Champions for the first time!

On the giant videoscreen, John Cena was backstage with The Rock. "Rock, you're the best choice for a partner that I can think of that can help me take down the Horsemen," Cena was saying to a skeptical Rock.
"Cena, I've been a fan of Ric Flair's for years. I may not be the best choice you can come up with," The Rock replied. "I, for one, don't think the Horsemen are that bad."
John Cena was surprised! "Not that bad? After all they've done to run amuck in the wrestling world?" Cena looked at The Rock with wonderment. "Don't tell me you might be considering JOINING them?"
The Rock did not look at Cena. There was something going on in The Rock's mind, but he would not tell Cena what it was. "Let's just see what we can do against the new AWE Tag Team Champions, okay?" The Rock asked.
"Okay, Rock, but you better have my back tonight," Cena eventually said.
MATCH 1: "Dogface Gremlin" Rick Steiner (with Scott Steiner) VS Scott Hall It was curtains for Rick as Hall used his favorite move two times in a row to win the first match. Scott Hall won after using his finisher-OUTSIDER'S EDGE two times in a row in a time of 6:52.
MATCH 2: Jimmy "Superfly" Snuka VS "Nature Boy" Ric Flair Snuka must have had something else on his mind as he lost very quickly against Flair here. Ric Flair won with a Kneebreaker in a time of just 0:23!
MATCH 3: AWE Tag Team Champions Arn Anderson & Sid Vicious VS John Cena & The Rock -- Non-title bout The Rock ran out of steam in this one as Sid put an ending to this match, picking up the victory. Arn Anderson & Sid Vicious won when Vicious pinned The Rock with a Short-Arm Clothesline in a time of 9:17.
MATCH 4: Bob Backlund VS "Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels Managing to out-smart his opponent, Backlund rolled through Michaels' flying move for the win. Bob Backlund won when he reversed a Cross Body Block in a time of 20:51.
MATCH 5: AWE Television Champion Scott Steiner VS Triple H (with Chyna) -- Non-title bout Not wanting the match to last too long, Triple H put away Steiner without too much trouble here! Triple H won with his finisher-PEDIGREE in a time of 2:24, thus Triple H receives a Title Bout on the next fight card!
MATCH 6: Hulk Hogan VS Bill Goldberg -- Tables Ladders & Chairs Match There was little doubt that Hogan was going to win this one as Goldberg looked hurt early on here. Hulk Hogan won with his finisher-LEG DROP in a time of 14:26.
MATCH 7: AWE Heavyweight Champion Ultimate Warrior VS Kevin Nash -- Non-title bout Proving crafty as ever, Nash managed to out-manuever Warrior and picked up a big victory! Kevin Nash won with his finisher-JACKKNIFE POWER BOMB in a time of 9:36, thus Kevin Nash receives a Title Bout on the next fight card!
