Yeah but the NWA had a much thinner line between places on the card. Ric Flair wasn't the same kind of champion as Hulk Hogan was. Plus someone like Ricky Steamboat was an I.C. calibur guy in the WWF and came over to the NWA and won the World Title. Plus guys like Garvin that at one time had won the NWA Title went over to the WWF and did nothing.
Dusty Rhodes was not in his prime during the 80s. He was painfully out of his prim by the mid 80s but still pushed himself as the champion.
And what are you talking about. Raven and Jack of Diamonds 2112 cards would've been top level in the GWF. You're talking about a federation that's been around almost 50 years vs. a company that's in it's 11th year and has had financial issues for most of those. Most of the CPC homegrown guys haven't been wrestling long enough to reach their primes.
The GWF was using 12 card sets for the first 5 years of it's existence. The CPC has been using 8-10 cards a year.

Plus guys like Garvin that at one time had won the NWA Title went over to the WWF and did nothing. Once again, I think there's a difference between popularity/recognition and what a wrestler's stats would be, which I personally view as a reflection of their in-ring performance. It's not a great correlation, I know, because "our" wrestling is a work, but I think you catch my drift... Dusty Rhodes was not in his prime during the 80s. He was painfully out of his prim by the mid 80s but still pushed himself as the champion. That's true. Although to be fair, Dusty's performance in his prime really wasn't that much better than when he was a few years past. It also doesn't really go to the point of the argument. And what are you talking about. Raven and Jack of Diamonds 2112 cards would've been top level in the GWF. You're talking about a federation that's been around almost 50 years vs. a company that's in it's 11th year and has had financial issues for most of those. Most of the CPC homegrown guys haven't been wrestling long enough to reach their primes.. I stll kind of think that Raven's first card was better than the CPC version; still, good cards but not really homegrown. And that aside, I actually think you could make a case that guys like Shylock, Zed, Raze/Angst, The Czar, Stigma, Pendekar who have had multiple variations of their cards made are in their 'prime' now. (how many upgrade cards do most character honestly get? one or two ..maybe 3?) So I don't think this is a valid point. All of this is dancing around what I've been trying to say. The CPC is the lesser known company so yes, the over-all talent will be lower. I got it. But, as other people pointed out, there is no valid reason that someone like Euritar automatically get a downgrade just because he stepped into the CPC and no valid reason why a character wouldn't occasionally develop into a wrestler with game stats on par with Endgame, Disaster, or Bloodline.

I say it's time for the CPC to have a former GWF champion have a great card, in the CPC. My CPC fed is going great but it needs a kick in the (well u know) I say guys like Puma, CPC Jack, and Shylock would rock in the GWF, so why can't a former GWF champion tear into the CPC. No downgrade and you will see the rest of the CPC guys step it up to meet the challenge of Mensar and Euritar.....
tkx again

I'd like to see a character, who's job it is to poach talent.
