I have corrected a major oversight on the Giant Machine html stats on my site! Anyone who's downloaded the word processor version knows this, but Giant Machine has a special rule that states that a wrestler must have power of at least -2 to throw him into the ropes and into the turnbuckle. Otherwise, Machine takes over on level 2 offense. This rule originally was seen in Champions Of The Galaxy for the character of Cyclopes, the One-Eyed Giant and I think it suites Andre as well.
I thought about giving Steele the add 1 for that move, but I didn't want to make him too powerful. Steele was always programmed as a guy who could give a tough match to the superstars, but he just didn't win many of them. That had a lot to do with the fact that he only wrestled part-time for most of his career (he taught school the rest of the year)and they didn't want to put him over on thier stars who would be there all year.
I have heard a major complaint that we didn't make Greg Gagne good ENOUGH, so it's all up to personal views. Chad Olson helped out on that one and we kind of deliberated on exactly how good Greg should be in relation to everyone else since he never got a chance to show what he could do nationally in a company not run by his dad.
Andre...er, Giant Machine's finisher is a little ambiguous. It is up to interpretation since he didn't have a set finish at the time. I see it as the big sit-down he used a lot. It could also be that single-arm and facelock suplex/drop he used.
I have plans to do a Honky Tonk Man card in the near future. I just need to do a drawing of him I'm happy enough with to put up on the site.
Rick Rude is my favorite heel of all-time, putting him in a dead heat with Jimmy Snuka as my favorite of all time period, so I am holding out hope that he will be part of the official game someday. Until I hear otherwise I will not make a card of him for the public. I do have a nice drawing done, though. I may just put the drawing up at some point, just because.
Boogie Woogie Man is a gimmick that also may get used in the future of the official game, so I don't want to overlap and do one first. But I am thinking of doing alternate gimmicks for the Legends that I know cannot be used for leagal reasons. That list would include Ax and King Harley Race, as well as Super Machine to go with Giant Machine (in fact, there could be a whole sub-page of Bill Eadie gimmicks I suppose.).
