Mr. X, sorry we've taken a while to get things. With Travis having problems with his software at work and me being busy with other things in life, it's taken longer than I thought. I am hoping to get something new up by this next week, but again no promises! Thanks for your continued support and patience.

Hey guys, I just posted two babyface tag teams from the '80s. I also took down Magnificent Muraco and replaced him with a former World champion. I also fixed some small mistakes on Mr. Fuji and Prof. Toru Tanaka's cards that I had missed until recently. Head on over there and check them out!

Yes great additions. LOW Bootlegs was in need of tag teams and Hansen is a force on his own. Great work.

Hansen looks pretty good. I never heard of the Fantastics, but the RnR Express look good too.
Thanks,
Jay

Tommy Rogers and Bobby Fuller, I believe....I think they were the ones that had that BRUTAL and BLOODY feud vs. the New Zealand Sheepherders before they were WWF-ized into the Bushwackers....
The Fantastics also were in WCCW for a bit, something that I did not realize...They sorta had a feud with the Midnight Express, if I remember correctly.
Another thing that I didn't realize is the Midnight Express (Eaton & Condrey, along with Cornette) were in WCCW for a bit also....

From the City of Angels.....THE FAN-TAST-ICS!!!!! Tommy Rogers and Bobby Fulton
These guys had some great matches with The Sheepherders in Mid-South culminating in a Barbed Wire Match.
They also were in WCCW and in the NWA feuding with Jim Cornette's Midnight Express. They both could be added to anyone's doing a Junior Heavyweight division as well. I remember Rogers chasing the great Les Thortnton in the Georgia area for the NWA Jr. belt.
Great cards. Keep those 80's wrestlers coming.

Just a bit of history on the Fantastics. They were originally Terry Taylor and Bobby Fulton. Taylor had actually been up for one of the Fabulous Ones in 82, but Jerry Jarrett settled on Keirn and Lane because he saw potential in Taylor as a singles star. At that time, Bobby Fulton was a top enhancement talent on Jarrett's Championship Wrestling TV show and had some occasionally opening match appearances around the circuit.
Ole Anderson was looking to expand his Georgia territory with one crew working the the lower Northeast (Ohio, WV,) and the other in Georgia. He came to Jarrett who had a fantastic crew at the time. He wanted additional talent to supplement his Georgia territory.
Jarrett offered Taylor, Fulton, Cornette, Koko Ware, Bill Dundee as booker and a few others.
Ole pulled the experiment within a couple of months and the Fantastics went their separate ways. Tommy Rogers was wrestling around Georgia at the time and I"m guessing where this is the time the two hooked up.
They went on to star in Mid-South/UWF, Memphis, World Class and in the late 80s, the NWA
EDIT They (Taylor/Fulton) were originally the Fantastic Ones

For my money, from an in-ring perspective the Fantastics are the best American tag team, ever. Better than the Rock 'n Rolls, better than the Rockers, better than both versions of the Midnights (and maybe not as good as Kroffat & Furnas, but they were almost entirely based in Japan). Tommy Rogers was that good. If he wasn't so small, or there'd been a light heavyweight division back then, he'd be remembered as an all-time great.
The Fantastics put on excellent matches in a whole bunch of US territories as well as All-Japan. Rogers continued to be able to adapt, being a very good worker as an ECW undercarder.
The Fantastics/Midnights match from the first Clash of the Champions was on Youtube as of a couple of days ago. It's a must-see--this was the Clash that was going head-to-head with WM4 and this match completely blows away anything on that card.
