As described in the booklets, Rage is a shootfighter by training. From this I took him to be a much better MMA fighter than prowrestler. Likes to clinch, loves the ground, but is not afraid to strike. Being an Aethran he is going to be very tough. Also, I have used my penchant for adding 'real' names and having the traditional CotG name as a nickname. another really well done card. He's gonna come in handy, might have him gain a few pounds to go super heavyweight though :-)

If Mark ever decided to grab an Aethran, this is the perfect one.

He would be perfect.
But Tom would never give him up. And I'd never ask for him. Aethrans are GWF all the way. Maybe as a special attraction?

He wants in and even offers to fight for free, any weight class, putting up his own money as a purse to whomever wants it. Even when other GWF guys are eventually brought in (with conditions), he is not offered a conditional contract. Which makes him, well, rage.

Rage is awesome. I know Mark isn't about Aethrans, but he was the first guy to jump into my mind too. Just one point though....Rage IS his "real" name. Aethran's don't have names, they have ranks, and are given Gladiator names at the time of their first Cleansing. Just saying is all, the card is sweet!

Why is it that I can't figure out how to print any of the bootlegs in the same size as the official ones?

try cutting the paper the size of a offical playing card rickert ? just trying to help ya . Doesn't work. It will cut off information on either the right or left side of the card if I try to rim it down to that size. Thanks anyway.

I had imagined Rage would have a higher KO rating than a 4, and no negative defensive strike rating to bring it down either. I feel like he would still get owned by the upper half of the current POW heavyweight division.

I had imagined Rage would have a higher KO rating than a 4, and no negative defensive strike rating to bring it down either. I feel like he would still get owned by the upper half of the current POW heavyweight division. Ya know, people haveasked me how I determine how a wrestling card differs from a MMA card, and the best answer I can give is that I look to see if they have any martial arts training, in addition to how tough the card is. So Rage, despite being young, has specifically trained in MMA, and is going to be tougher than the average guy making the transition. Plus he is an Aethran. If I were to draw up a a Disaster - MMA card, They would be pretty comparable, but only because Rage has MMA training, and Disaster does not. I have found Rage holds his own with everyone pretty well except Shylock. And that is how it should be. Rage, depite his training, does not have the fight experience that a Shylock or a Cypher has. In time, if Rage progresses in typical Gladiator fashion, I imagine Rage will be able have some serious contests with the top guys, if not be better than them (except for Shylock, of course Mark!!! ;D ;D!)
