Wow, tough call here. My dad's family is from near Columbus, so they are huge Bucks fans. I took a couple of classes from LSU, so that does make me part Tiger I guess.
I'm goin' with OSU.

The Buckeyes are in the same position Florida was in last year: can't win, no chance, too much speed, etc. etc. etc. There's no greater motivator than being told, "You can't do it."
Plus, of all the BCS contenders, LSU is the one that doesn't run a spread option, and is the best match-up for OSU's defense.
Buckeyes, 20-17.
(Bias? What bias?)

Yeah, who won that game last year? Watching the HBO special on UM-OSU had something that stuck in my craw. Chris Spielman said, "What would UM be without players frokm Ohio?" Basically saying that UM would suck without Ohio. Well, the last time OSU won a Nat'l Title they had a QB from Michigan (who went to a rival HS of mine) named Craig Krenzel (who's mom worked at my school in '02). So, it seems OSU can't do much without players from Michigan. LSU - book it.

I see your point ... kinda. But last year I don't think anyone, anywhere, at anytime said anything about Ohio State having too much speed for Florida.

I gotta go with my Buckeyes, using my heart instead of my head.
Pete is correct in his observation that OSU has never performed well against the spread offense. It's not the raw speed, but the system, that Florida and Illinois used to exploit the Bucks defense.
I am less confident about the offense. Boeckman has limited big-game experience and has made some bad decisions and bad throws this season. If OSU can run effectively and protect Boeckman, I like their chances.
I never worked with a QB's mom, but I did graduate from high school with the mother and father of OSU punter AJ Trapasso. Sam (dad) was a respectable linebacker for our good (not great) football team (I was a marching band geek). Cindy (mom) grew up in my neighborhood and so I actually know her better. The two of them were high school sweethearts who married soon after HS and have been together ever since.
Besides, how can you pick against a group of guys whose fathers have names like "Animal", "Iron Head" and "Pepper"?

Yeah, who won that game last year?. That's exactly my point. OSU was practically handed the BCS title on a silver platter as soon as the UM game was over--Florida was an afterthought from the moment they were announced as the opponent. That didn't sit well with them, obviously.

After the season in college football we just had, there is no way I can count OSU out. Even though I think LSU is the better team, I've learned that anything can happen. I still voted for LSU, but thats just because I loathe tOSU and the sweater vest.

'Twas the night before the final BCS ranking....
The Buckeyes looked back on their long crazy season;
"Akron was a joke, Washington's program was spent,
Who cares if you stomped out those flashes from Kent."
"And Youngstown was easy, so was Northwest,
And Purdue, they were mediocre at best.
But of course they don't mention the teams that all matter,
Like Michigan, Penn State, the Spartans and Badgers.
The Illini fought, with some help from the refs,
They knocked off the Buckeyes; they gave us their best.
"The Buckeyes are finished, National title hopes tossed"
That's all that they heard, the critics were thrilled they had lost.
But the fans did not fear, as we just jumped into bed,
While visions of the improbable danced in our heads.
When, what to our bloodshot eyes should appear,
But a number 7 ranking, and six teams to fear.
With a little old screwing, so lively and quick,
I knew for the moment the BCS must be slick.
The Sooners, they choked and so did the Ducks,
But the critics had doubt, they still said, "OSU sucks."
More rapid than eagles they lost all their games,
Buckeyes fans shouted, and called them by name:
"Down, Sooners! Down, Tigers! Down, Jayhawks and Ducks!
Go, Razorbacks! Pitt! Zona, and Bucks!!
To the top of the Big Ten to the top of them all!
Now dash away! dash away ! dash away all!"
And then, in a twinkling, we saw with a poof,
The whining and crying from this BCS goof.
The Buckeyes were now one, but who would be two?
None other than the BCS's favored LSU.
The critics are silenced, Columbus will shout,
"Throw on your Scarlet and Gray, and erase all your doubt."
The Bucks are back in the top of the rankings,
To the championship we go, all fans cheering O - H - I - O!!!!!

I work at BW3 here in Orlando.............home to the Central Florida Ohio State Buckeyes Alumni group. After seeing and hearing these a***oles for the last 3 months; I HOPE LSU CRUSHES THEM IN A WAY THAT FLORIDA SHOULD HAVE. And yes I know the Florida crushed them, but it should have been worse.
