With everyone talking about wrestlers ages try to remember this: This is a fantasy game set in the future and that MAYBE JUST MAYBE, not everyone ages the same way as humans do. we know the Animen age slowly. Other races may age slower than humans too

Look at Lance At-Las. His race ages even slower then that and if I am not mistaken he has been around for 1000 years

Raven was in prime fighting condition for 23 years with no signs of slowing down until Rubicon and Darwin's Legacy basically crippled him. Even then, had his salary not been cut, he may have returned and tore Rubicon a new one.

Other races may age slower than humans too This is true, but Prodigy is not from earth, yet most people say his time is up (because of a downgrade), I stated I might be wrong that Talon would be a downgrade but it isn't something out of the realm of possibility. And it's a moot point, since we now know it is an upgrade.

Well Prodigy also had some bad habits that have been mentioned. Also not every guy is going to wrestle forever or want to.

Lyn,
The monkey is an AniMan from Andromeda who's going to help out with Gila's team, but there's more to his backstory than meets the eye. As for Absalom, he's nobody's son, at least nobody important to COTG lore. I just liked the name!

Since it hasn't been asked:
Will Puma be getting better or worse? I'm guessing if he stays a face this year it'll be a downgrade to reflect him hitting the end of his life and slightly better if he goes heel.

You'd think, wouldn't you?
At any rate, on that question, I'm taking the fifth. You'll all just have to wait a few weeks to find out. To do otherwise would compromise my artistic integrity ... or ... something ...

Didn't Mark confirm somewhere something like "...not worse, but different?..." Obviously it's not a downgrade...Personally I think it would be cool to see Puma convert to human form by 2121 but that's just me.

Talon winning the title is no surprise or shock to me. He is one of the best high flyers in the history of the game, and has a tremendous amount of skill in and out of the ring. A lot of people tend to overlook him either because of his size, or because he is the less famous family member when he is compared to Raven.
To me, Talon is a lot like Christian from the WWE. He had been part of a unit with a famous counterpart, but of late, he is making a name on his own. I'd like to go out on a limb and predict that by the time his career ends, Talon could easily dwarf the accomplishments of Prodigy, Enigma and Rising Sun as one of the greatest high risk wrestlers... ever!
