-- WWE's Johnny Ace wanted a meeting with Japanese superstar Takeshi Morishima when Morishima was in New York last weekend. Ace is said to be very high on him. The NOAH promotion put a stop to the meeting, citing loyalty to Ring of Honor which Morishima works for. WWE actually approached Morishima a year or so ago when he was training at Harley Race's school. WWE had interest in putting him on the ECW roster since talks with Masato Tanaka and Tajiri fell through. NOAH stopped it from happening then too. As previously stated, RAW writer Brian Gerwitz was at the Ring of Honor show in New York last weekend. Brian is a fan of Delirious' gimmick and has pushed for WWE to sign him.
I mentioned it before, but I believe Delirious' gimmick would get over with the WWE fans.

I have said the same thing, Jamie! I think Delirious would do very well in the WWE.

Morishima could fit in well if pushed correctly, but Delirious would spread like wildfire with the WWE crowd.

Please stop the sarcasm, Havoc. I've violated board rules before but wasn't aware that "no sarcasm" was one of them. My bad.

If they really do suspend everyone on that list from the other thread I bet this will be far more likely to happen, and sooner rather than later.

I'm honestly not sure if the WWE is anything more than a lateral move for Morishima.
NOAH+ROH has an easier schedule and it's not like the WWE is going to offer big-time free-agent money to him; hell, it could end up being a pay cut. And growing up in Japan isn't really conducive to having "dreams of working for the WWF" or whatever.
Delirious could be a sensation, but I really hope they don't mess with him.

OK, I am going to plead ignorance. Whats the big deal with Delirious? Kind of reminded me of Enigma when I saw him. Whats so good about his gimmick?

His comedy stuff is really what makes him shine, but he can put on great matches too. Watch Delirious vs. Colt Cabana from Fifth Anniversary - Liverpool from earlie this year... he's brilliant.
