Briscoes Vs FIST Results

Chikara held its Maximum Overdrive event at the New Alhambra Arena (aka ECW Arena) in Philly last night. The main event was Chikara's Campeones de Parejas (that's tag team champions) Team F.I.S.T. (Gran Akuma & Icarus) taking on the ROH World Tag Team champions the Briscoes. With F.I.S.T. being one of the most hated rudos on the roster, everyone was looking forward to the Briscoes smashing them to pieces, particularly Icarus. Anyway, here's a report from the Chikara Fans board.

HOLY **** ICARUS IS DEAD. Ok not really. Look, I know a lot of you have been down on Icarus. Most of you probably think he shouldn't have won Cibernetico last year, and that FIST shouldn't have been the ones to beat KOW for the tag titles. And then came that horrendous match against Lince & Sicodelico at the March show's main event. We've all been low on him.
So recently, we've been booing the crap out him. Some of it is "YOU ARE THE HEEL, YOU SHALL BE BOOED!" But some of it is, "You don't deserve this, get out of the ring." Well, after tonight, most of you won't be booing him in the latter way anymore. He got the **** kicked out of him by the Briscoes. His whole body was red, except his face was totally pale, drained of color. He got so many chops to the neck, so many slaps to the chest, landed high on so many high-impact moves. Respect levels should move WAY up for him after the match he was in today.
The crowd was all for the Briscoes, and all against FIST. The heat was awesome from bell to bell. The end of the match saw Akuma and a Briscoe rolling each other up, with Akuma getting the final roll-up with a handful of tights. That's right, the Chikara champs beat the ROH champs!! You will love this match on DVD; it was very clean technically, and FIST got a very brutal beating while winning.
Post-match, Icarus and Akuma got mad at each other for some reason. Akuma left without taking his title. MAYBE THEY WILL LOSE THEM TO THE ICE CREAMS!!!!!!!!!!
