Is it possible to get the stat tracker to give you rankings for a specific period of time?
I know you can set the cut OFF date for when you stop, but is it possible to give it a STARTING point for rankings?
Example. I give out awards based on rankings, but during the time period (about a month) it has Spike as the top ranked wrestler (5-1, holding the IP title) yet Alpha Force is (11-0, holding the universal title) during the same time and is ranked 3rd. Obviously their previous history is playing a roll here, but is it possible to get only that time period for awards like wrestler of the year, month, etc?
Thanks!

No, that's not possible as it's currently constructed. Each of the ranking personalities looks at a specific period of time in determining their rankings; some look at as little as four months, some look at as much as a full year. I could easily enough set a toggle switch on the ranking page to do that, though. Put this in the suggestions thread and I'll squeeze it into an upcoming update.

As much as I like this feature, will there ever come a day where we can use our own rankings system? I like mine I use on Excel, someday will I be able to have JMello's System on there and perhaps even share it with others who may like it?

I'm interested to know how rankings are determined?
Is it something which could be replicated for us to use in our own feds?
Thanks

This isn't going to happen, not to where you could define your system and let the Stat Tracker work with it. What could happen, though, is that there might someday be an option to fill in your own values for the ranking equation's variables, basically creating your own Ranking Personality. It's low on my list at the moment, though, because I think having something like that in makes the personalities less fun. I'm not saying it'll never happen, but unless someone responsible for giving me money tells me to accelerate its schedule, I've got a lot of other stuff to add to the Tracker before it'd be on the to-do list.

I'm interested to know how rankings are determined? Ancient Chinese secret or overly-complicated formula. Is it something which could be replicated for us to use in our own feds? Theoretically, yeah, but not easily. The formula is probably too complex for a spreadsheet, and it requires a lot of info that only exists in the COTG universe within the bowels of the Stat Tracker. It's basically a points-ranking system that degrades the points over time and has modifiers for things like title wins, match prestige, and wrestler ability built into the system.

Thanks, Larry. JMello sent me his ideas and I think I am going to try and incorporate them for my fed.
Keep up the good work!
