Wow, I get to throw out some of the first questions. Here's mine. I have the online launch package. So if all I want to do is play aCe then $21 gets me the game table for six months and I still have the stat tracker from the launch package for six months, correct?

Can I buy the stat tracker, by itself for the $30 now, or do I have to wait for G-Con or whatever? Also, what if I bought the launch package but just want the stat tracker, how would that work?

My question is how does the launch package fit in.. is it 6 months of the 'Tracker, or will we get the game table when it comes out too?
Also, when does the 'clock' start?

I've said this before, but just a reminder - I don't answer these kinds of questions. ;D Just a precaution against an answer I give not being 100% right.

so....what I am looking at....I have the Launch Package...which has the Stat Tracker and the aCe package.....
I will need to buy the GWF package AND the Game Table, and that will be a total of 41 dollars (Subversion set + the 6 month subscription to the Game Table). Right?
I am really not sure why I was thinking the Game Table was included in the Launch Package....

I haven't got into COTG Online yet. What happens if I just order the aCe set for $15? Do I just get the cards or would I need the stat tracker to get access? So I'm pretty much asking do I need to already have the Stat Tracker or Game Table to get the aCe or GWF sets?

I made the same assumption based on getting aCe and the stat tracker for 6 months as a package deal. I was hoping for some kind of packaging for the Game Table and the GWF stuff. I'l still buy a subscription to the game table and the new sets. I need to stop assuming stuff =)

There DOES still seem to be some confusion over what the Launch Package gives you....

I think the main problem is most of the people that bought the Launch package, will want the full effect of COTGOnline and will want a 12 month subscription as well, especially since there seems to be a bit of a discount for subscribing for a year instead of 6 months. Since I bought the Launch Package is there no way for me to still get a discount by going to a year and just adding the game table to my current package?

well...i don't even mind the 6-month subscription at first....gives ppl a chance to really see what it is.
But to get all of cotgonline....starting with the launch package....
29 for the launch package + 20 for GWF Subversion Package + 21 for Game Table = 70 bucks.....
I am not saying that 20 bucks for the Subversion package isn't a great deal....but, it is digital. And none of us really know much about the Game Table either....
Like I said, for some reason, I was assuming that the Game Table would be included in the Launch Package (I think due to the name of the package....I figured that with CotGOnline Launch Package, it would include the two key elements of CotGOnline).
I may end up just getting the Game Table first....checking that out (I already have the Launch Package)....and if I like it, add the Subversion stuff.
I don't know....this is what has brought me back to cotg....so I am going to give it a shot. Just not sure to what extent I want to just jump in now that I see the pricing scheme....

well...from what I gather, the Launch Package gives us:
- aCe 2119-2121 (which would include the Character Progression somehow?) - the Stat Tracker (which includes the Simulator) - 6-month subscription to Stat Tracker
Maybe, I think, personally, that adding the Game Table in there, and making both the Game Table and the Stat Tracker a 3-month initial subscription might be a good deal....that would give ppl the chance to check out all that cotgonline has to offer at a discounted price point to start things out. Notice, I did not say to include the Subversion package in that Launch Package, though....

While I keep out of the business stuff, I will, however, talk about things that I'm entirely sure about. Specifically ... - aCe 2119-2121 (which would include the Character Progression somehow?) Character progression is already in there. Take Nemean, for example. He got only one card, that being his original 2119 card. In COTGonline, though, there are three versions of Nemean: his original, printed, 2119 card, a version in 2120 that changes several move names to add more flavor to the character, and a very slightly upgraded version in 2121 that shows how the character is growing in the ring. You'll see things like that all throughout the aCe cards in COTGonline, and it'll be there in the NB/Subversion cards, as well. My last count on tweaks over those sets was right around 20.

that is awesome, and that is why I think cotgonline will succeed....small changes.
NOTE: Just so everyone knows....I am not saying that the current pricing of CotGOnline is not a good deal....I would just like to have a better deal ;-)

To get JUST the Stat Tracker (with no game editions) you'd have to wait until around Galacticon when we actually feature each of these products seperate in the Filsinger Games catalog for purchase. If you're interested in just the Tracker, you're better off getting the current Launch Pack as it's a dollar cheaper AND comes with the aCe pack. If you don't want the aCe pack, you don't have to use it. ~ :-Xsk
