Jeremy Su drew DRURY. And DISASTER. And HAVOC. (I'm pretty sure of this?)
Jeremy Su ALSO draws ALL CPC sets in which REPEATEDLY guys are drawn in plain white or black T-Shirts or coats ex; taurine, romulus, brainstorm (twice), barnabus, shylock, orion, dar gova, thayne, angst, raze, (wow) and a few others I'm sure i can't remember.
Now does a character, and thus the entire fed, become established and worthwhile to play based on the drawings and stats of it's stars or the book to of which comes with it?
The Collector is an ACTIVE character in the CPC story-lines. NO PLAYING CARD MARK! What am I supposed to just bust out my 2095 collector and that's good enough?
Thats bush-league and thats why the CPC is bush-league and will continue until Mark makes proper use of his artist, and characters Tom so graciously leaves him.

Bah, Tom's not afraid to make you bust out an old card, especially for a manager, either.
Who the heck is Orion?
And technically, Brainstorm's shirts weren't "plain".
I see the point with Shylock, Zed and Angst and the "wifebeater club"...but Taurine's look is basically the same as the one Tom and Brian Bendis gave him in 2109, but with a dark coat and a haircut. It fits the character. Barnabus was wearing what looked like a lab coat with a shirt under it...not unlike, shockingly, a scientist.
Now frankly, this post is bordering SERIOUSLY on trolling. In fact, if this part of the board were my jurisdiction, there would have been some bouncing going on...that said, I will endeavor to argue the opposing view.

No, but you can use his 2093 card, because he's still a non-wrestling manager witha distractor rating of 5. Why you need a new card is beyond me. You know what's bush league? Slinging insults from anonymity. Your IP has been banned and will reamin so for a week. Not so much for this post, but nearly everything I've seen from it lately has been garbage and non-constructive.

I don't understand why this guy has such a beef with Mark. He's just looking for reasons to blast him. Me? I don't follow Mark's fed because I like the bigger scope stories, but then again I don't follow Tom's either. I take a bit from both and mesh them together into one fed with two shows (very similar to Raw and Smackdown). I think the intermingling is fun. However, I don't feel the need to rip on everything that I don't care for. Personally, I enjoy the good and give out the occassional constructive criticism. Honey catches the fly faster as they say...

I don't agree with this cat either about the artwork. I think that, by-and-large, the CPC sets have been filled with very good drawings. That said, I don't think that the guy should be barred or banned from posting because he says things that some people, particularly a moderator or administrator, do not like.
I am assuming this is the same guy who started the '41' debate about the quality of the CPC, which eventually got locked because someone ticked off the administrator. I know the reason given for the locking was that the discussion had veered off topic, but topics tend to shift in a real discussion, based on statements made by others. It was not the first time I have seen threads get off topic. I don't remember anyone locking the thread about conducting a CPC/GWF draft which turned into a conversation about the Chargers-Giants draft-day deal. I could be mistaken, but I thought the main purpose of a discussion board was to share, discuss and, sometimes even argue about various ideas.
While I certainly do not agree with his whining and complaining about the CPC's artwork or the lack of a Collector card (although I would have liked a Group of Seven or a Michiko Ishida card), I do not think he should be silenced or barred for saying these things. He was not making racially or ethnically insulting statements, which I have seen on this board in the past, he was just saying things that a lot of people disagreed with.
Just my take, and I apologize if I got off topic.

For the record, he was banned -- temporarily -- for being a nuisance and a troll, not for disagreeing with the admin staff. Consider it a Time Out.

I think he actually makes a valid point. There do seem to be a lot of CPC wrestlers donning a plain t-shirt. This is 2119 - can we get maybe even a t-shirt with some design on it? As far as the Collector card - - what if you only play the CPC and not the GWF? Or what if you just started playing the GWF? There really should be a playing card for this guy considering he is a manager. Even Vallah, Maramus, Pahntast, and Mesmer had cards and they were non-wrestler non-managers.

I'm assuming that "Orion" is "Onami." Just for the record, the 2115 drawing of Brainstorm, Dar Gova, and Thayne were all drawn by Jeff Diamond, not Jeremy Su. To be honest, there was no need in my eyes for a new Collector card. Given that I only have 10 cards to work with per set (8 regular plus 2 special editions), I felt it more worth everyone's buck if a Collector card were bumped in favor of an actual wrestler or manager with something worthwhile to do (like Dr. Barnabas). Honestly, I don't see an old guy who never was a wrestler contributing much in the way of outside interference or distraction as would, say, Thantos or Brute. They could still get physical in a limited manner at age 60-plus. The Collector, no way. Why have a new card? You'd basically only be getting a new drawing. That's not what the majority of COTG fans would want, from what I heard about similar cards at GalactiCon or on this board (such as Maramus having nothing but a drawing). Am I wrong on this?

While I am a self confessed art junkie, I don't like it when there is nothing on the back of the card. I mean, it looks great, but it really doesn't do anything. Hmmm... kind of like the Hilton Sisters

I would have thought it would be a complete waste to give the Collector a new card. If he would have gotten a card last year then someone would not have gotten a card.

the only way i see giving the collector a new card was if he had a body guard or "personal assistant" to interfere for his team. i also do not like cards with nothing on the back, just a waste of space in my deck
