Which former GWF star do you think Mark and/or the CPC has done the best with? I'll go with the Mad Jester's: their carriers were dead, burried, decomposed, pumped out of the ground, and sold for $2 a gallon before they joined the CPC and now they are founders and key components of one of the most interesting stables in COTG.
Others at the top of the list would have to include the tailisman, I don't remember much of this guy's GWF carrier except he thought he was a pharo. Now He's an Evil cult leader who I love to hate.
Brainstorm: I always thought he would one day become one of the elite in the GWF and first balot hall of famer, it never happened; but now in the CPC he has elivated his game and has become centered in key story lines.
Raven: a near elite in the GWF, became the best in the CPC.
Jack of Diamonds: Raven might be better but Jack is arguably the third most immportant person in the CPC after Magnus Colby and Pelf. Heck with Ishida and Colby trying to win his favor he was the defacto owner of the CPC in 2117. He would never have been this immportant in the GWF.
Penthouse Punks:Romulus and Taurine had managers call them from out of the blue to tell them they weren't even good enough to ask to join there stable. untill Colby took a chance on them. Now they are considered one of the best teams of all time.
Enigma:a Back ground character in the GWF. A background Charater in the CPC; but a background charater with a lot of shiny gold belts.
Other posibility's: Storm Troopers; Theater of Pain, Splatter, Blizzard, Gila, Terak: don't laugh he might be considdered a joke in the CPC, but he's a front and center joke instead of a background one., Mace, ect.

Mad Jesters were good, but they (he?) had a few good story lines in the GWF. I really like that Mark made Talisman an interesting character.. His whole Psychosis with his new found beliefs is just great. Bravo for Talisman!

His whole Psychosis with his new found beliefs is just great. Bravo for Talisman! I gotta second this. Everyone else on the poll has either had a decent run in the GWF or has more or less languished in the CPC. Second place goes to the PUnks, but only by default. However, I do believe that Mark deserves some sort of medal for the COMPLETE 180 he managed with the Savage Kingdom. ;D

Yeah, wow the Savage Kingdom having a prime time player? That is a big accomplishment!

Mark has done wonders for the Savage Kingdom, but he has made Raven into an absolute superstar, whereas before, he was just another wrestler. It was almost as if the peak of his run in the GWF was his rookie year.

My vote went to Jack. He was no more than a midcarder in the GWF, but in the CPC, he's been my most dominant heavyweight champion. Blizzard and Brainstorm are 2nd and 3rd.

I voted for Jack but Brainstorm, Raven, Punks have all done well for me. Jack is a 1 time CPC, 3 time Interstellar, and 1 time tag team(with Gunnar) champion. Raven is a two time CPC and 3 time Interstellar champion. Brainstorm is a 2 CPC and 1 time Cruiserweight champion. The Punks hold the record with 3 tag title reigns, and Romulus is a former Cruiserweight champion.
Honorable Mentions go to Mace, 2 time CPC and 2time Special matches champ, Wildcat who is a former 1 time Interstellar, 1 time Cruiserweight and 2 time Special matches champion, and Talon who is a former 1 time tag(with Karah) and 4 time Cruiserweight champion

Even though the Jester is my icon, Jack is my hero. Jack is just my all time favorite GWF/CPC superstar. Tom made him a star, Mark made him a legend. Thank you Mark ...

JOD was a down on his luck GWF has been who was working on the indy circuit when CPC signed him and made him a star. He has held the CPC Heavyweight and TV titles and is a major star and fan favorite in my CPC.
Raven was riding off into the sunset when CPC signed him for a large chunk of cash. But instead of using it for one last big payday, Raven has once again become one of the top stars in the business. He just turned heel in my CPC and has been great. I expect many more great matches out of him.
Brianstorm was a great character who is starting to reach his potential. He is a guy fans love to hate.
Penthouse Punks have become a solid tag team.
The Savage Kingdom got the boot from me a long time ago.

As soon as Tom handed over the CPC's reins to me, I had it in my mind to eventually make Jack into the CPC's version of Lord Nexus -- an upright honest person who's last thought is of himself. Being able to have the Exiles and Titans have the cross-promotional charity matches was a nice icing flower on the corner of that cake. Jack's just got that look about him, you know? Also, Talisman has been fun to morph, as has the Savage Kingdom. While Talisman may be shifting a little more to the background lately while others have their spotlight time, he won't fade away, don't worry!

I think Mark has done a great job morphing Brainstorm from an opening talent to a full fledge Main Event. Even though his card isn't the best, Mark keeps him very interesting storyline wise.

I just restarted CotG last month. Before that, I haven't played since the 80's. And I'm only up to 2092 in my fed. It's a total testament to Mark and JoD's popularity that I even know who this guy is. I just love this guy, and I never used him once! Heck, and I like the bad guys! But Jack (for me, just like Nexus and Star Warrior) seems like a character that you just get behind and want to root for. Just like every hero needs a cool villian, every villian needs a great hero to play off of. Jack seems like that kind of hero. I could be wrong, but I hope I'm right. I look foward to finding out.

Well Mark wanted to make Jack the CPC's Lord Nexus and I think he has done that with him. I think Jack is what Lord Nexus may have been if he had stayed in singles action.
