DDP vs. Rude seemed like a natural fit. They're evenly matched and have opposite personalities.
I booked The Crusher vs. Johnny Valentine because I thought it would be a hard hitting match, like you said. They'll meet again.

The Killer Bees beat the DiBiases after a Killer Dropick on Iron Mike.
Don Muraco beat Yukon Eric with the Asiatic Spike.
Nick Bockwinkel beat Mad Dog Vachon with the Figure Four Leglock.
The Old School Horsemen entered the ring. Steve Corino called out Antonio Inoki and demanded the LWF Heavyweight title. Inoki came out a few minutes later. Corino again demanded the belt. Inoki looked at the belt, looked at Corino, and hit Corino with a vicious Enzuigiri. Buddy Rose and Bob Orton Sr. attacked Inoki, but Nick Bockwinkel made the save wielding a chair, scattering the heels. Bockwinkel and Inoki had a staredown, then left seperately.
Frank Gotch beat Bob Orton Jr. with the Gotch Toe Hold. Orton left the ring area with a noticeable limp.
