LPW in Monroe,Indiana at the Blue Jean Community Center
The Masked Superstar pinned the Missing Link...Johnny Valentine made short work over S.D. Jones....The Midnight Express without Jim Cornette in their corner as to match Stipulations won by dq over Iron Shiek and Nikolai Volkoff, after the bell rang Nikolai Volkoff attacked Bobby Eaton and the Iron Shiek moved in and tossed Stan Lane out of the ring then followed him out and gave him two deadly backbreakers onto the concrete floor injuring him. Eaton and Cornette drove them off with chairs, but the damage has been done...backstage Sheri Martel was drinking and Buddy Rose wasn't paying attention to where he was going and bumped her and she spilled her drink all over her. Very upset she called him every name in the book and then sent her man Justin Credible after him. In the ring Justin Credible used his singapore cane to cold cock the Playboy while Sheri distracted the Ref and got the win...Antonio Inoki pinned Koko B. Ware...Killer Bees won by DQ over Mil Mascaras and Konnan...Harley Race pinned Bobo Brazil...In a non-title LPW heavyweight Match the Nature Boy Buddy Rogers beat challenger Antonnio Rocca...In the LPW tag-Team championship Match the Road Warriors pinned the challengers The Dream Team to retain their titles...In a LPW Television Championship Title defense Sabu won by DQ over Chris Candido to retain his title.
After the matches Jim Cornette came into my office and speaking a million words a minute and very hyper told me he demanded a rematch to get even with the forgien rejects for what they did to Sweet Stan. I let him finish his speel and then told him done. He left.
Paul Ellering came to me right after Cornette left and he sat down and for a man whose team defend the titles and kept them he didn't look happy.
"What is up Paul?"
"See theRoad Warriors tonight? Hear the reaction for the first part of the match? (Promoter Note: First part of the match the Road Warriors were barely in it and weren'at really putting an effort into it. The fans knew it and were booing loudly and chanting that L.O.D. Sucks. The Road Warriors finally woke up or what ever and quickly won the match in few power moves)
"Yeah I saw and heard."
"There is something diffrent about them. I can't tell exactly what, but something is off."
"I don't know, but what I do know is your boys better get ready for the next PPV "WrestleBowl 1 in two weeks for they will be defending the belts."
"Yeah okay." paul said and got and left.
Wonder waht is going on with the Warriors they did not seeem happy in the ring tonight. Well we will just have to wait and see I guess.
