I'm curious as to how The Betrayer has fared across the board. I've recently cycled through the 2119-2122 era under my new format and from the start I felt he had a great deal of promise with his rookie card. His backstory was intriguing and seemed to hold a great deal of potential to take off in a variety of directions. Pegging him as the step brother of Tristan was a nice tie-in that created a sweet career rivalry. Statistically I liked Betrayer's triple finisher modality, saw him as a real threat against agile wrestlers...and a niche player in tag situations. TB seemed to be a future sleeper and potential impact player under the right circumstances.
Unfortunately he seemed to really fall off with his 2122 follow up card. He became a weaker tag wrestler and lost the stat niche that made him special. In terms of the official storylines he seems to have become a joke who's heading for a crash...not a good sign. I'm hoping we'll see him somehow get back on the right track.
How has The Betrayer's career fared for others?

The Betrayer is awesome. He had great success with his rookie card and is doing well with his 2122 card so far. He is probably my favorite lower mid card guy.

I like the character but he's not doing much. I think he will be one of these guys that disappears and not too many will care.

I really like his new card as opposed to his older card. I wish he had a +2 finisher but he does just fine for me anyway. I like his new direction in Outlaw Nation so yeah very fun now as opposed to never using him before.

In 2119 he was a 2 time tag champ for me, teaming with Tanck. They made for a very effective team because Tanck had strong early offense and could wear a guy down, and then when he was on level 3 in comes Betrayer with 3 finishers (or 3 plus 1 moves) to really do some damage. They made for quite the 1-2 punch.
As a member of Big Things he hasn't found as much success for me yet, but the team hasn't been a complete joke either (after a long losing streak to start their partnership, that is).

I think he is cool. I really like him better mostly because his art is cool. He looks more superheroish now. His other art was good too but I think that other art wouldve worked better with a powerful crazy guy or something. His new card will win some matches but I liked his older stats better. Overall it was a good trade off of better art that fits the character for less than better stats. Hope that makes sense and no I dont proof read. lol

He's had very little luck in my fed but he's always keeping things interesting. He's Vanity without the flair but definitely the reactions from the fans.

The Betrayer is very odd in my fed. He leaps from jobber to main event killer at uncertain times. His results are so varying I don't know what to do with him in my fed. His feud with Tristan seems to be exhausted but his teaming with Gryt still has legs. He's been involved in a recent tag match with Gryt against American Guy and Pride that was very satisfying to play.
