I was also hoping that an Early Classics/Classics Era release would come first...but I see where running with the Original was an easy safe decision. If the release of 2087 is used as an almost immediate bridge to building a complete history from scratch with a 'soon to follow' EC package...then I'd peg this as smart marketing and great for the game. |

For only $8 this set is a steal. Access to a download of the original booklet alone (which has also been colorized) is a must for those of us long time players who have lost/damaged it over time. The colorization of the cards was very well executed. At first glance Killer Queen was the biggest standout. Vanity comes to life...the Exo King art was always a favorite but here he looks even more impressive. Beast Rider looks far better than he ever deserves to.
It's going to be great reliving the Thantos Era under my new Fed Format. I'm hoping the next release is Classics...but an Invasion Series release would also equal an instant order.
A big thumbs up to the team that put this out!
