It's hard for most of us who play the game (99% of which are guys) when we're given a chance to create an official character and create one that is female.
Props to Troy for doing a great job on Nikki but I think females will be a rarity in PM.
I know Rob's gf plays and she will not have the women wrestle. Says she doesn't like it.
I know I'd rather have an awesome male wrestler than a female who will mostly be a manager.

I agree.....obviously nothing against women -- and maybe it's because real-life pro wrestling taints my opinion because 95% of women in US pro wrestling are all eye candy with little to no talent -- but I would much rather see male wrestlers debut or get updated sooner than seeing the COTG women's ranks expanded. Kudos to Tom for making some really cool women's wrestlers like Mother Superior, Sultana and Strafe recently....but women's wrestling in the game has always barely held my interest. |

I agree, no offiense to those who are into women's wrestling, but unless there was a whole set with women, one or two seem like a waste to me... having a 'division' with only a couple guys(or girls) just isn't that fun, IMO.

That's why I use all the women together in their own fed and don't worry about timelines. It makes things much more interesting.

Big deal! I agree with the other posts unless your going to run a women's fed it will not make sense unless you use this character for accompaning the other wrestlers to the ring. Other wise KEEP THE WOMEN OUT!!!!  |

I was going too send it in as a submission for PM2/free bootleg for Tom and the gang but not so much now.Maybe next time eh? For the record,the female wrestlers in my fed are kicking butt! Well, you cannot "submit" an entry into PM2 or any future PM drawing as it has been and as far as I know if it continues will continue to be a random GCON attending members drawing/lottery with the added feature of one non-attending member winning a spot (Marty Weber was the winner this year). Of course that doesn't mean you cannot share your ideas with everyone in the event you find yourself a winner next year or any year after that... I had stats for Overtime a year in advance of winning my spot and I know several others who had their characters stated out for far longer than that. As far as the art goes we proudly announced that Werner Mueck (who has since drawn for aCe and will be drawing the entire up-coming block buster release of CPC 2122) has been officially hired to be the PROMOTER MADNESS artist. In fact, he has all but Mike Fortune's character done which we are planning to begin work on tonight (he is going to be a cross between Vanity and Spartacus) and then PM2 will be wrapped up in no time. With all this said Nightmare Nikki was one of the most successful pieces done by a winner last year (Troy Xavier)...so much so that she was used on the cover. Awesome character, and if I had to bet knowing who is and isn't still eligible to win a spot in any future Promoter Madness lottery's that she won't be the last women character we see. To answer the initial question, no there will be no female wrestlers in PM2. Unless you count Mike's guy. Rob |

Sounds cool, Swarm. Mind you, when my wife wins a spot, she'll definitely be making a female character. Nikki was so fun to make. Trust me, I could have written 3 pages about her, but I left it vague so promoters wouldn't feel shoehorned by her.

Why are they such a blast to play? I know you weren't addressing me, but I'll just chime in and say that the battles between Phantasy and Latasha in my fed over the past couple years made for probably the greatest rivalry over that time. Just great back-and-forth battles, often for the Women's Title (which both held three times). I was very sad to see Latasha go for that reason. Mother Superior recently has had a stranglehold on the belt before just losing it to Phantasy on my last card. I think she held it for almost 8 months, which is a long time in my fed and I think it would be for a lot of other peoples' feds, too. I like the women's division, but it's the size it needs to be. |

Latasha vs. Phantasy was one of the most heated feuds in my fed. They hated each other! Add to that American Guy turning against Latasha to date Phantasy and U.S. Male being torn between his allegiance to his tag team partner and to his manager (who, in my fed, he was attracted to) and it was one of the most intriguing feuds as well. I too was sad to see Latasha go in the official storyline. But there is the whole "It's up to you Promoter" idea which leaves room for a Latasha return!!! |

I thought the Promoter Madness cards were made by the fans.(Thats the only reason I was going too "submit " my art.)But now that I know (thanks Swarm)  how the process works I'll just keep my created bootleg in my fed. I apologize too you all. On a lighter note! My fed is red hot! with She-Devil and Phantasy tearing it up in one of my big time feuds of the year (2120). Will the former GWF champion She-Devil take Phantasy's StarDust title away from her. CAN She-Devil do it?......I'm guessing she might! |

I thought the Promoter Madness cards were made by the fans They are. If there is a PM3 you can submit yourself as an eligible winner by either attending GCON next July or by purchasing PM2. Either way would make you and your character eligible to win. Hope that helps. |

Sounds like we're about 3 posts away from hanging a 'No girls allowed!' sign on the Filsinger Games main page...
Anyway, I agree that there have been times when the womens division has been more than a touch lackluster but I think the current crop of women wrestlers is pretty fantastic. Shann-Ra started it for me and has kicked butt for years in my fed. Mother Superior, Phantasy and Sultana have most recently made some pretty big and impressive waves for me. As for Nightmare Nikki she's rapidly becoming my favorite of the bunch. I like the concept and love the art and have incorporated her into my standard GWF fed to work with Omen and Nosfera. So I'm all for cool concepts, icky girls or otherwise.
