Alright, I'm looking for a consensus on what y'all would consider to be the "official" tag teams from 2087. I'm getting ready to get to that part of data entry for them, and I want to make sure I don't miss anyone.

1. Brute & Massacre 2. Greek Gods 3. Vanity & Killer Queen 4. Space-Croppers
Now....other tag teams that I usually would use:
1. Ghengis Khan & Mutant 2. Pit Viper & Pulsar 3. Comrade Terror & Executioner 4. Omega & Massif 5. Omega & Commander Sam 6. Exo-King & Death Knight
I know that those are not "official" tag teams, but still....

The only official tag teams from the book are The Gladiators and Greek Gods.
But, you can probably say the Space-Croppers (Beast Rider and Renegade), Flying Titans (Pit Viper and Pulsar), Society of Death (Mutant and Genghis Khan), and Vanity and Killer Queen were all heavily used as tag teams.

What about Wolf and Proteus, Khan and Executioner, and so on? I remember there being a lot of tag teams that Tom mentioned as tagging together occasionally.

Wolf and Proteus are mentioned as tagging sometimes. I used Khan and Executioner together as well.

Khan and Executioner actually briefly won the tag belts for me in 2087. They were a farily effective tag team that year.

I also think that Executioner and Comrade Terror were a team called the Henchmen.

they were....but not officially until 2088. I would use them in 2087 anyways, though. Maybe just not "call" them The Henchmen until 2088.

I'd call the Space Croppers official too. The three man teams (like the SoD and the Titans) didn't have anything official in the book, so that's up to you.. I think most people use Khan/Mutant and Pit Viper/Pulsar, but its not in the book. For the Evil Ones, since Queen is stated to team with Vanity, I'd call King/Knight a team. The FDF doesn't really have one, IMO. besides Wolf-Proteus and Khan-Executioner, it also says Pulsar and Beast-Rider teamed occassionally in the book

OK, reading thru the book
Space croppers (Beast Rider and Renegade) The Greek Gods (Proteus and Actagon) Pulsar and Beast Rider The Gladiators (Brute and Massacre) Vanity and Killer Queen Genghis Khan and Executioner
Unless I missed something these are the only 6 teams were the book list as being tag teams or occasional tag teams.
The book does say the Evil ones take on FDF in six man tag matches. As do the SOD and Flying Titans.
While the book states that Wolf and Proteus are friends, it doesn't say they team together.
That being said it would be hard to say that Pit Viper and Pulsar, Mutant and Genghis Khan, Exo-King and Death Knight, and some combination of the FDF such as Omega and Massif couldn't be considered official. It's likely a lot of promoters used them as teams even if they weren't listed.

That was actually part of the fun of 2087 to me. You could make a bunch of tag teams that year due to the fairly loose tag team ranks. From 2088 on, you started losing that fun until by 2090 it was totally gone.

I actually liked Killer Queen and Exo-King ... that just seemed like it had to work and be a team ;D

Since I am not to far removed from 2087 I can remember the teams I used other than the "official" teams and they were Massif and Sam (won the tag titles on 2 occasions) Krakan and Khan (suprisingly good) Nexus and Pit Vyper (had a few upsets) King and Queen ( a good team for the era) Terror and Executoiner (not a great team but had good matches)

They were quite successful for me.

larrys right its in the 2087 booklet if you want to look it up . And High Stakes is clearly mentioned in the 2119 book. That didn't do me any good, so I don't see why I'd expect this time to be any different.

Gotta go with King and Queen. Yeqh, I don't think as a tag team they were officially called The Royal Family until about 2089, but Exo-King and Killer Queen had a couple of title reigns in my fed.

Favorite early teams of the Killer Queen and Vanity also Pit-Viper and Pulsar. Two of the early holders of the Tag Team Championships...
