My only complaint with Thunder (and Enigma) were that those first cards weren't full time wrestlers. Hence why I think Ursa is the biggest turnaround guy instead of those two.

No doubt Ursa Major made the biggest statistical jump. I'd say Pulsar also deserves an honorable mention for being the prototype for the well executed 'rookie to seasoned pro' upgrade. One of the things that appealed to me most was that in 2087 Pulsar had the look and feel of a promising young guy that just wasn't 'there yet'. That's an important pro wres archetype to represent and I'm really glad Tom included it. Pulsar was clocked with a Pin 9 (6)...a Level 1 Offense plagued by his weak +4 Power rating...yet he also had decent level 2 & 3 moves and somewhat impressive tag skills. He was a mixed bag...young and agile...yet also inexperienced and on the weaker side...stronger in a tag setting where his weaknesses could be 'carried'. This was a great face rookie card format. In 2090 Tom introduced the concept of 'upgrading existing characters'....with Star Warrior, Brute/Massacre, Terak, Death Masque (Knight) and Krakan (a downgrade)...yet none was cooler for me than Pulsar becoming Pulsar Prime. In the course of three game years Pulsar Prime now had developed _TWO_ Finishers...a 5 (2) pin rating...improved defense...and more power and agility (but not over the top). This gave a now more established Pulsar more depth...and the act of 'playing out his career' more substance and reward. He was the first CotG Character I really got this type of feeling from.
