Now that I've finally hit 2121 I have to say I've been very pleasantly surprised with just how solid a tag wrestler Scimitar has proven to be. His six defensive tags combined with an 'add one' on both level 2 and 3 have made him a real gamer...much more so than I ever expected given what looked on paper to be a lackluster offense and a weak standing with pw/ag moves. He's become a realniche player spark plug type.
I'm curious as to how successful he's been for others.

Nothing really big about Scimitar in my fed. He's been pretty crappy for me. Although Claws and Knives do have on victory over The Trouble shooters, however most of the match was with Slavebeast. It was his best match for that year.

I actually just had a really nice happenstance with Scimitar in my fed. I had him scheduled in the opening match against the Betrayer, and he won, picking up his first ever singles win. And when I considered how it might have played out, I thought about how maybe his Greatest Show teammate Gryt came down and interfered to give his new stablemate the win over his former partner. It set up a nice Betrayer/Gryt match a few cards down the line. (Betrayer won.)
Tag-wise, he hasn't been much, though.

He had a pretty nice little tag team going with Tricks when he first debuted (Carnival of Blood), Claws and Knives didn't do so great but did okay. Now, he's getted hammered by Plethador in singles, but I still like the character.

He recently beat Panther Warrior in singles action in my fed, which was quite a surprise, because he hasn't done a lot for me. I usually just use him as enhancement talent and he plays the role well.
I am kicking myself for not pairing him with Switchblade as I had planned when I first brought him in.

He does have a chance. Ursa Major's 1st card was a lot worse!!

He does form an interesting version of Claws and Knives with DSC of Promoter Madness. I know in Payback's fed he holds a few singles victories over Tristan which is pretty impressive. He's a pretty cool character. He could use a slight upgrade imo. I think a tag specialist card for him along the lines of where Antak was would be great.

Id like to see a jobber tournament with all the COTG jobbers like Astro Turk, Black Hole Bart, Ursa Major's first card, Sir Ender, and all the others to see who would win. If someone gave me a list of them all, because I am too lazy to get it done myself, then Id run a tournament to see who the winner would be and who the Black Hole, loser, would be on the other side.

I ran one with Cyclopes winning it. This was before Scimitar and Plethador though.

Please use the power of your stroke here great one...a future tag specialist Scimitar upgrade would be sweet! LWPD (while the rookie era Scimitar may not be 'technically refined' enough for singles stardom...no one can deny that this man hits _SUPER HARD_...the Scimitar Chest Chops and Machete Jabs do major damage when thrown in combination...and his feel for working a tag match is well beyond his years...this guy could be a real sleeper just waiting to break out)

No, no update for Scimitar.
He's a jobber.
He's not supposed to be very good so that, when he does win, it's a big deal.
And he really isn't that bad of a tag wrestler. Like Swarm said he even beat Tristan twice straight up.
I have him as a tag wrestler with DSC in my GWFZ fed.

Jobbers have progressed to better cards in the past. QFT...the potential for upward mobility is one of the best components of CotG. A ladder needs climbable rungs. One of my favorite examples of 'a guy who was purposely presented as an enhancement talent' yet slowly developed into 'something more' was Ursa Major. While never an A Level Singles Star...over the course of several updates he developed into a very respectable and enduring character...so much so that he even garnered eleven HOF votes. Not bad for a character once type cast as a merely carpenter. LWPD (a quick check of Lord Rahl's Character Ratings shows a rookie 2092 Ursa Major with a score of-36(-35)...along with stats of a 10 (7) Pin Rating...a total of ZERO level 3 offensive moves on either level 1 or 2...and like Scimitar 'no finisher'...by 2099 an upgraded UM jumped to positive movements of +61/+69 respectively...and at his peak in 2109...seventeen years after his debut...Ursa Major was stated with five defensive tags...a CH Level 3 move on LV 1 Offense...three level 3 moves on level 2 Offense...and _TWO_ FINISHERS on Level 3...Scimitar Fans...history shows the potential is there...don't stop believing in the Hard Rockin' Daddy) Working hard to get my fill Everybody wants a thrill Payin' anything to roll the dice Just one more time Some will win, some will lose Some were born to sing the blues Oh, the movie never ends It goes on and on and on and on...-Journey 'Don't Stop Believing'...adopted theme of The Hard Rockin' Daddy...Scimitar

Ursa Major being the biggest example, but Gila improved as did Pollux, Zouave, and Eagle/Talon and of course..the Punks...multitime tag champs of the CPC.

Looking back his 2099 rookie card was a paltry -34(-33). Probably the greatest overall leap in 'status' would be the Thunder 2095 Rookie 4(10)...which eventually morphed into Thunder SE 2112 53 (62). Tom's strategic progression...slowly building him from slave to tag specialist to singles star to established legend...makes him among my all time favorites.
