Are the Titans dead?

We had a strong comeback with the Ani-Men of Andromeda at the brink of their demise. Now we are seeing the same for the Titans. We thought we were having a strong comeback, we even had a storyline with the Betrayer that we thought would be big. But that never materialized. Tristan is kind of dissappointing. Payback is weird. I like him but he personally loses a lot of matches if that makes sense. Not many people beat Payback, Payback uses so many hardcore moves he adds +3 to himself and if he loses offense he's done. Scion was great (misused horrible by me, came on strong too little too late), but now is in the CPC with Jack. Maybe we could see a Titan faction in CPC. I could have see Pit-Viper in the OFC.

But does anyone else think this faction is pretty much dead or is it just me?

Well they're just spread out for now. Once Nexus was out, the heart of the Titans left too. I wouldn't be surprised if we see their resurgence one of these days considering how many awesome fighters come from there. Payback, Tristan, Overtime, The Surgeon, and The Betrayer are all Titans right? That's a pretty strong contigent right there.

Reckless and Tristan are actually a pretty good team for me despite not winning any gold yet. They're just not quite at the level of the Master Race and Rage & Paralyze. Payback has his streaky moments, too. He's still never won gold for me, but he's the only guy so far to give Monolith a total butt-whoopin'.

I'm not so sure I'd want a Titan faction in the CPC, as that's a team really identified with the GWF. Scion being there was mainly my response to not wanting the guy out of the game completely when Tom didn't have any more plans for him, and he seemed a natural fit with a guy like Jack.

Wraith, everything you say about Payback is what I think is great about the character. He's like nobody else in the game. It's VERY rare that anybody totally beats Payback. He either beats himself or totally crushes you. And as Mark indicated, he can stomp anyone. EVERYONE FEARS THE +6 EXVENGE!

Reckless and Tristan are my tag champs currently. I think they're just in a little lull and will make a full return at some point when Tom introduces a unifying character for the team.

I think that, especially with Tom's somewhat ruthless (and that's a good thing, imo) efforts to keep the roster tight, if the Titans were meant to be dead, they'd be dead and gone. I would venture a guess that the Titans will get their resurgence, as have the AniMen.

Reckless and Tristan may be floating right now, and may be on the bland side...but they are a good team and a good nucleus for a Titan team....Payback's commitment to DWF already seems shaky after this last set....maybe he'll return and lead them on.

I think we need to see the Titans turn.
The universe is sick of the goody-goody Titans. Payback may be "hardcore ", but I would love to see the Titans turn nasty.
A more vicious Payback, an arrogant Scion...could do the job.

I'm in 2120 and Titan Glory are my tag team champions. They defeated the Master Race to win the belts and have been on an impressive run.

I've always been a big Titans fan (Pulsar was probably my favorite guy from the Golden Age of the GWF), so I'm glad they are still around. I know that they seemingly have little to do in 2122, but hopefully Tom ushers in some new enemies for them in the next set.

I hope that we'll see more Titans like Payback, Moonstrike, and Solar Flare. Dang that would be an awesome 3 man team!! I'd really like it if we get an Hardcore Titan team. Update Tristan, and Reckless(even though he's not really a Titan), and have them be faces who are against Endgame's crusade.

The AniMen are back? My fed..they are essentially a bunch of midcarders who the fans enjoy.

Like 2 Cool when Rikishi was at his most popular.

But unles Swarm becomes a leigt main event threat, they aren't really "back" IMO.

But as to your thread...Titans aren't dead, just mostly spread out. I quite like the idea of creating new factions. And I especially like how the "main Heroes" are in the FDF since (in my fed at least) the FDF was always fro the cream of the crop.

Reckless will leave DWF though and with the addition of another characte (or if OT becomes "official") they'll return back to their former glory...

I don't think they're dead. Titan Glory have had some great tag team matches in my fed lately and are so close to getting the tag team titles.
