Hey guys after 17 years of playing FINALLY FINALLY ... I have held 10 rumbles, every rumble has been one from #26 to #30, #30 has won six rumbles!!! No one from the first 15 has made it till the end till Havoc just entering at #14 not only made it till the end but won the rumble. Also of note Aethrans have won seven of the 10 royal rumbles as well!
How about you guys has anyone from 1-10 won?

So far I've played through the years 2074-April of 2108 and I have had a rumble each year from 2088-2107 (2108's rumble hasn't happened yet). I've had some rumbles won by guys who drew #20 or earlier but only 2 rumbles won so far by guys who drew single digits:
Billy Jo Boxer won my 2089 rumble after entering at #5 (Boxer threw out fellow Titan Lord Nexus for the win)
Genocide won my 2103 rumble after entering at #7 originally as Buck Steele.
But it really doesn't bother me that many of my rumbles are won by guys who enter in the 20s or so since they should have the better odds because the results are based on dice rolls. COTG of course works different than the WWE where the winner is predetermined and thus they can easily have something like Rey Mysterio win the 2006 Royal Rumble after drawing one of the first two numbers just 2 years after the same thing happened in the 2004 Royal Rumble.

I can't stand Rumbles for exactly the reason you gave - that the later entries always seem to win. Why the heck am I going through all this torture of rolling the early stuff when it's not gonna matter in the end?
Battle royals themselves I've been known to do, but rarely anymore. I just don't have the patience. I only do it if I don't have a clear contender for the heavyweight title and want to use it to give someone a match. Might happen once every other year.

Werner Mueck has made a great chart and rules for a battle royale that really rewards the better competitots. "Out of the ring" isn't an automatic out. I played one last night, and it worked great

Hmm would like to hear more on this chart Werner came up with.
MARK - Yeah every time I do a Rumble I have a couple of problems like that. 1 minute is too short and 2 minutes is too long and 90 seconds is hard to keep track of. Every rumble I think I have done ... (checks records) ... since moving from a 20 man over the top rumble (for some reason held three rumbles that way only Thantos at #10 won, #19 won every other rumble), Correcting my original statement, no one from #20 and below had even reached the final four. And in the previous six rumbles #28 and higher has won every rumble (funny side note besides Colossus's win as a #30, an Aethran has won every rumble I have ever had).
TOASTERBOY - Why would you want to play online when you can lay out the cards all over you kitchen table and play that way - OLD SKOOL 4 LIFE son!
Anyway I am bringing back Rumbles just because I like the event. It's the only event that i say is connected to current wrestling as I actually incorporate WWE's history here as well. How do you guys do rumbles? Any other suggestions?

I tried a ten man w3 battle royal last night. Frankenpuss won. I ran into a few wording snags and a few dice rolling snags. I'm going to edit the charts a little right now. I guess I can post the PDF for people to try on my site temporarily (My site will be moving soon though).

I run my rumbles a very unique way, but usually a later entry does win it. Tano, Omega, and Morpheus won the only 3 I've held in Classics and Disaster won the only one I've held in NB. I'd explain in greater detail, but I've done it all on here before. It involves a randomizer and that way I don't have to time anything.
Promoter's note, in my NB rumble, Endgame threw out 8 competitors. Check my fed. (Cheap Plug)
