I am thinking about restarting my fed. However I dont want to do EC because I am missing the 2070-80 set. Should I go ahead and forget about them, or should I start 2087, wait until I buy the Classics and make a history?

EC is awesome in its own right, not just to build history, so I'd highly recommend it. You could always go back though, so I'd start at 2087, and order the EC set when you're ready do to so  |

Yeah, the EC set is awesome and if you have a chance pick it up. Otherwise pick it up later and start back at 2087.

I restarted after I bought all the Early Classics set. What I've done though is took the best, IMO, wrestlers from the Early sets and started my GWF year at 2085 and have completely run my own fed from there. I've used Tom's storyline as a general reference and used some of them but have mostly enjoyed myself from that point on. I was up to 2116 and got bored with the stories, so I knew I needed to take a step back. Little did I know that would lead to a huge step back, all the way back. And to be completely honest, I'm having the most fun I've ever had w/ the GWF. I was 13 when I started and now 12 yrs. later my creativity is more advanced which leds to a better fed, and I use 1 year edition in reality to 6 mos. in my fed, speeding things up so that one day soon ( the way I play) to catch up with where I was and beyond.

I went ahead and started at 2087. I figure I can go back and do EC. I have the perfect scenario at the end of 2086 to lead into 2087
