OK, I was intintionally vague in the title of this thread. I am asking for a current list of those GWF/CPC stars that have "passed on." The return of Wolf (although I don't own the set yet) got me to thinking about it. Those I already know about:
Crossfire - due to injuries suffered in a match against Blazing Skull.
Massacre - poisoned in a plot to take over Aethra.
Dreadnaught - although I'm not sure if this was ever officially stated and by all accounts he could still be wrestling in someones fed, and not as a zombie bootleg.
Vengence - this one really sucks and I don't have the set yet so I don't know how it happened.
Are there any others?

PS: I put the Possible Spoilers in the thread title so we could cover everything without giving anything away to folks who don't want to know.

They weren't in either the GWF or CPC when they died, but Grovel and Cremator both died in 2121

Ok this is why I lose trivia contests, cause I bought cotgonline just for ACE, I read the handbook twice but I didn't even notice Grovel and Cremator died ... is it wrong to not notice those two.

See, I knew I missed something. I never got my 2115 handbook when I orderd my stuff (I did a huge order that christmas, I think it was 2118 current year though). I tried to e-mail Tom about it but never heard back. Big Time |

Jakyl and Krypt died as well. The new Darkness Falls are just two more from the same tribe and have apparantely the same abilities.
Though in 2119 I thought the Jakyl and Krypt cards were of the best fighters from that tribe?

That was said yes, I agree I would have liked to have seen a tweak to these two, up or down, I don't really care, just a little DIFFERENT. I don't think it would be worth two new cards though, so maybe that was the reasoning. |

At the Con, I do think Tom said something in his Q&A like "if he (Vengeance) is indeed dead" or if it was a body double/prop. But I missed part of his talk so he may have clarified it somewhere else.

I can't remember which one, but I know for a while Tom had a note in the booklets like, "If Dreadnaught is still alive, increase chance of a fatal roll to xxx" and at one point just wrote, "Assume that Dreadnaught is dead" in the last one of those updates. Can't remember the year for the life of me, though. |
