When did GWFZ debut? I know Massif mentions it in the New Beginnings Set, but did Promoter Madness not release until 2121. What were the first two years? Do I just run bootleg cards until PM was officially released.

Well it specifically states that the GWFZ started in 2119, also if you reread Promoter Madness it also mentions some of their debut dates. Dr. Payne, for example, did debut in 2119. If I was running a GWFZ fed I would go off the assumption that at least most of the guys were all part of SW's first roster.

Since I was in 2120 at the time of PM's release, that's when I began my GWFZ. I just held off the debut of the guys like Sledgend, Assassin X and OT, since they didn't arrive until 2121. I filled out my roster with guys like Max Shield, Nefarus, Varsity, Rush, Soulwatcher and Bust Up.

(from GWF New Beginning 2119 and GWF Promoter No. 74) GWF Commissioner Massif has hired several wrestlers on a unique part-time basis to work at a wrestling school called The GWF Zone in Cetus. Former legend, Star Warrior, helps run the training gym at The GWF Zone and there are enough wrestlers to schedule occasional wrestling cards at smaller venues. This smaller federation, a subsidiary of the GWF, is called the GWFZ. The GWFZ has been started on an experimental basis in 2119 and its main purpose is to train new talent for the GWF. It also provides wrestlers who have been cut from the GWF roster an opportunity to earn at least a part-time wage by working with younger talent and still wrestling at the same time. Some of these wrestlers may even return to the GWF on a full-time basis in the future. Max Shield is employed part-time by the GWF working for their training school called the GWF Zone. He also occasionally wrestles on GWFZ cards, to the delight of his many fans. Nefarus has joined The GWF Zone and has cut ties with his former friend, Vendetta over Vendetta`s deteriorating lifestyle (Vendetta has been arrested several times on disorderly conduct charges). Nefarus is carrying on his feud against Max Shield in the GWFZ. Bitter with the GWF over not being offered the contract he felt he deserved, Euritar has joined the Serpens Cauda Wrestling Alliance (SCWA). He refused an offer to join the GWFZ and to enter the CPC. He is currently the SCWA Heavyweight Champion and the owners of the SCWA are hoping to turn their federation into a major player with the signing of Euritar. Lord Nexus has returned to Titan as a conquering hero. He turned down an offer to work for the GWFZ and is dedicating his life to helping the poor and downtrodden on his home planet. Sniper has joined the GWFZ and trains female wrestlers. |
