No one can really ever truly replace Thrash can they... uh, well, I guess I'm totally wrong. Strange how Tom managed to fill this empty niche to a tee. He must be starting to get good at this.

Well Strafe will probably get an upgrade at some point.

I think the women's division is WAY too strong, and Strafe may be a way of bucking that trend from the last sets (Shann-Ra and Phantasy both have a 1 PIN and only one down-3 on Lvl 3 Defense is my memory serves me right.)

How is having a strong women's division a problem? It certainly doesn't effect anyone who doesn't use them. Personally I am glad that the women wrestlers have strong competitors as opposed to the early early days when Amazonia and Thrash dominated everyone.

Personally I am glad that the women wrestlers have strong competitors as opposed to the early early days when Amazonia and Thrash dominated everyone. I said nothing about there being something wrong with having a strong, competitive women's division. The top 4 or 5 are very powerful, but they are too strong on defense, making their matches long and often boring. Toning them down doesn't mean the division can't be competitive.

I agree with Knapik about the matches getting long. A lot of the women from sets prior to the last couple are near carbon copies of each other, which always makes for long battles that don't always have great moments in them. Then again, occasionally you get a lot of kickouts at only one number higher than the current PIN, so it can be fun.
Mother Superior is flat out blasting everyone right now, though. 15-0 to start the year (which starts in December for me). Let's see what Strafe might do with her.
