A Singles Star Becoming a Tag Wrestler...

For those who follow my fed (and if you don't...you should) you know that Encubus has pretty much been the man for me. He's the dominant heel champion, the main event, the top player, the straw that stirs the drink.

However, as I run through 2120 I know that I'm soon approaching the birth of Divided we fall. And for the most part I follow Tom's stories, with little tweaks along the way. Divided we fall teaming is huge and something I'm looking forward to (especially for Bloodline). But I can't help but think that I'm going to miss Encubus as a singles star.

The coming of Monolith will likely ease the pain, as I think he will fill the top heel role very well. And Divided We Fall should find plenty of success in the shaky Tag Team division.

So I suppose my question to you is, what has been the hardest "Singles star to tag star" or vice versa for you? And how did you book it?

Probably Star Warrior for me...he was my top face at the time.

I'm glad I don't have that problem. Bloodline and Encubus were so into destroying each other that; except for a couple of #1 contenders matches for Encubus and a very small Holo-Vision Title reign for Bloodline, they feuded nearly the last year and a half. (I'm mid way through 2120 and I start bringing in the new guys/storylines mid way through a year). Matter of fact, I just ran the angle where they shake hands after Bloodline comes to the aid of The Son of Thantos.

Not sure if this counts Offspring, but when the Cosmic Forces became Monad that really sucked!! One of my best tag teams gone for a guy who never really made it out of the mid-level for me.

I thought doing Divided We Fall was going to be tough, but they are just so dominant together it's really cool.

I could not get singles gold off o fDivided We Fall. Im at the end of 2121 and Bloodline has had a stranglehold on the Galaxian title in my fed. Encubus had the I-P title so I said screw it and just try and make these guys go after every title.(Two Man Power Trip Style) With the tag division being what they are having the hardest time with(losing the big ones). Encubus finally dropped the I-P title to Monolith who I also wanted to take out Bloodline. Bloodline was not having that though. On the upside im thinking of Bloodline giving Encubus a shot at the belt just because the are rolling the whole fed anyway. I wont break them up just have some respect matches and saying they are heads and tails above the entire fed. Its been fun but I feel DWF has been underutilized in my tag scene just because of there singles pwning.

I still haven't had one match with Bloodline and Encubus as a tag team, cause they hold all the singles gold for me...I'm sure their an unstoppable tag team but I'll never know at this pace.

In COTGOnline they aren't as strong in singles, because they've been given tag moves.

I was mad about Malice for a long time.

Me too....Malice was emerging as one of my flat-out best singles stars....and probably would be ranked among the all-time greats in my fed had he not gone to tag-team action. He had a great run as a tag star.....but his stats were so good, he was one of those guys who just won and won in my fed. And kind of underappreciated, like Ventross.

For me it was Bishop Hell. He teamed with everyone in the royal court but deserved to be a breakout singles star. Also when Tom Broke up the Galactic Cops, and Powerhouse. Those two tag teams were on top for me.

Offspring, I had the same problem. Encubus was kicking @$$ in my fed and held the belt for a long time. Disaster finally beat him, but he was still on a role. I even brought back Wolf at Deimos Perrenial 2120 as a mystery opponent, (and this was the only time I brought him back after retirement) and Encubus absolutley destroyed Wolf. Not only that, but Bloodline won my "Rage in the Cage" Tournament which guaranteed him a shot at the title, and he won! The following year, they both did very well in singles, Bloodline holding the Galaxian Heavyweight belt atleast twice. Luckily, Bloodline lost the belt to Disaster before my next Deimos Perrenial (2121).

Malice for me as well. The guy was owning my GWF title when he got shoved into tag. He dominated there while Thunder did moderately well, the Glads would have been better served to have kept it the way it was.

Oh yeah, Malice was massive in my fed as a single. I held out making him a tag star for quite a while.
I'm a little shocked at how dominate Encubus is , in your feds.
He struggles in mine...no matter how hard I push !!
