Here's my question as it's not really clear int he handbook. Who's the leader for the Gladiators? Is it still Disaster or has Wolf pretty much taken over?

I don't see Wolf as a leader type--he could leave at any moment and he's out for himself first and foremost. Even though he's not the top dog, I still say Disaster calls the shots. |

I think he kind of stepped aside, because the loyal Aethran he is, he wants to beat down Havoc, which will be easier if he has Wolf to focus on Monolith for him.

Nothing actually said Epoch was shot. A gunshot went off. It may have been shot in the air to scare him off.
Best line is - What happens in Maffei II stays in Maffei II.
I liked the artwork for Chewbacca.
And lastly, the man is back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That would be Havoc, not Wolf.

New feuds
- Sly Drury REALLY improved, but he's still not a match for Endgame.
- Wolf also improved, but I doubt he can take Monolith. The new SAVAGE FACE CLAW is a beast though.
- Daimyo's methods are cool, but he'll get crushed by Kill Prey.
- Havoc improves slightly, but he's no match for Disaster
- US Male is pretty tough now, I think he's better than American Guy.
- Vidtek is ok, don't think he'll be successful against Payback though. As usual, Payback usually beats himself.
- Strafe is a notch below Shann-Ra IMO.
- I think Anivar is a bit better than Betrayer ( and how about Anivar making the moves on Lorelei!)
- Retribution and Nosfera are a pretty even offense/defense battle.
- Malkuth is decent all-around and a very good tag wrestler. I think he and Panther Warrior are too much for Circus Strongmen - mainly because I don't think Gryt is up to the level of the other three guys.

Thats funny, Havoc's art is my least favorite in the set. I agree with you Todd. Malkuth is my favorite out of the set , Regal Mane lives . U.S. Male is kickass too . Sly's the man though , Matt had it right all along. DAMN ! |

You know I am happy that Wolf is back. Used The new Wolf card to beat Monolith in the first round of the Galacticon Cup with the Savage Face Claw.
But Wolf's weekend didn't start well as he competed in an all Gladiator tournament at the comic book store and lost in the second round to Rush
Rush won the whole thing by beating Paralyze(First Card) in the first round,Wolf in the second round and Malice in the finals
Then again we also saw Santon the Loner beat Spike in the first round so it was a weird tournament

I would have to say that my immediate thought is that this manual was the best written yet. The personalities that came out are AWESOME. The Betrayer may well be my favorite of the new set, artwork and sarcastic persona.
Havoc's art is great. And what a cool way to bring him back.
Glad to see Slave Beast get his update finally.....it works out great in my fed as he just recently won the Interstellar Title and this'll seal the deal for him being a "new man".
U.S. Male is a brilliant upgrade. What great artistry in making a guy look aged just right.
Wolf was never one of my favorites, but this storyline is flat-out cool and I'm thrilled to have the old legend back in action. He never blazed trails in my fed years ago, but something tells me this new card will.
I'll have tons of comments over the next days....I'm still letting it all sink in and am studying the card stats and whatnot....all I can say is that 2122 is AWESOME. The writing is the best ever, the artwork is pretty much across the board great.....I can't wait to receive the actual cards and start having matches!

If I were to pick out my least favorite artwork, I'd honestly have to go with the new Monolith. It was just unnecessary, and I think the uniqueness of the closeup face shot was a strength. I'll probably go ahead and use it, but I wish it hadn't had been done.

Havoc art of course is great. Hopefully it gets posted somewhere so I can change my avatar. Just one problem. Where are my eyes?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
