I had to vote for the classic nGo guys, but the most fun I ever had with a bootleg was when Payback and I created a Tafkaga bootleg last year and ran him vs. a bunch of COTG cards...
it was basically a photo-copied pic of him and he had stats like Angst where he would just flip out in the middle of the match, announce his departure, and high-tail it out of the arena.
It was fun for a like a night....I still have no idea what happened to the card.

My other favorite bootleg is my Tommygunn bootleg...he has crappy defense and a high pin rating but his finisher is off the hook...
he actually beat my Kevin Wibble bootleg for the RBF title last time I played...

The absolute only bootleg I've ever used in COTG is Death Knight II. I received it while I was playing Sudden Death 2103 and hooked him up with Mad Jester when he was facing off against Jack and King. Perfect within the storyline!
Great character.
For Legends...I love using them.

Boy what a choice to pick from . I voted I love all bootlegs . I only use about 6-9 of the listed wrestlers (in my feds) . If I had to pick one it would probably be 'Von Braun' .

And my friend did some awesome drawings for them. Wonder if anyone still has them?! |

You're right about Zantak .He has become big in the last 12 months or so . But Von Braun had already done a few things by then (like won commissioner competiton and 1st ever Transevolver Cola winner) . I still use Nitemare , Poison & Dragkil .

My greatest ever reign by a bootlegger , was over 1 human year long as GWF Special Matches Champion . That was by Pitt , so does that make him the best ever bootleg , in all the ones I have used .

Man, there are so many cool bootlegs out there, hard choice to make. If I had to pick one that someone else created, I'd say Markus Vander Zanden's "Freakenstein" of my own, I have to say "Storm" as his 2006 update turned out rather well. and his stats are very basic and not stacked at all. he's actually had a tough time winning a few matches if any |

Besides my own, I have to go with Varsity created by Christian MacLeod...he had awesome promos and feuds with characters on the egroups years ago before he was a CAC in the Moral Majority tag team. At one time, he held 8 title belts in 8 separate federations...now that is strong! He's back again in my CCW with a new card in the Aftershock set. He's still great, and he's not a stat monster either...he's technically sound and well balanced. That's my vote. Honorable mention would be: X-Nailz (I really loved that guy), Stone Cold and a numerous ICOF guys.
