I think Tom and company are doing just fine. I would hope they wouldn't worry too much over people with no sense of humor or fragile little sensibilities. Someone teasing people who have spent on and off the whole day begging for spoilers is pretty harmless. I've been playing this game for 20 years and desperately want to know what's happening in 2122, but I can wait a week to find out and am not badgering conference-goers about it. Post of the year candidate. Runner-up: Anything else Aquinas has posted in this thread. Strong! And I won't be eligible next year. Why? Because I'll be at friggin' GalactiCon for the first time ever!! |

Oh by the way The TRIVIA CONTEST was rigged too (D-Town reps Joe and Matt won) and we tried to fix the Cup Finals but damn Troy Xavier outsmarted us with his loaded dice.
Can't win 'em all!

No offense to Pete Beck and Jim, but if that Trivia Contest was fixed, someone did a p***-poor job by having us go out in the first round (and not in particularly close fashion). |

We lost to the eventual winners (Joe and Matt) so at least we have that but a first round loss has NEVER happened to either of us...not to mention Pete and I have met in the Finals at least two other times in the past (I lost both times)... I guess we just got caught off guard. Besides I was still in shock after being disqualified in the second round of the first big tournament (eventually won by Smoke's son Jaron w/ Mr. Bloat) after being lucky enough to draw the new Endgame with -5 power and -5 agility and a straight up +7 finisher (even though it is a disq. move) that I think I was kind of distracted. Talk about the ultimate high to the ultimate low. And I didn't even get DQ'd for the finisher just some random out of the ring roll. Sucked. |
