I take it that Swarm is some kinda jerk rubbing it in that he is one of the select that got to go and people like me who is struggling and can't make it is kept in the dark about stuff. Hey thats fine, at least I just got me a small fix up house to play around with.

If someone is going to stop buying COTG stuff because their feelings were hurt over harmless ribbing, so be it. Someone like that is just going to find any old thing to get their panties in a bundle about.
Swarm could come over to my house and kick me in the groin and I'd still keep salivating over each and every COTG venture.

Not that I care about Swarm and his comments BUT I will say if there is some sort of anti-spoiler policy in place it does irritate me due to the 'No spoilers but bet your ass you can pre-order and give us your money!' Either way I'm sure there'll be more than we can handle in a day or two. Just tossing my 2 cents in.

I think Tom and company are doing just fine. I would hope they wouldn't worry too much over people with no sense of humor or fragile little sensibilities. Someone teasing people who have spent on and off the whole day begging for spoilers is pretty harmless.
I've been playing this game for 20 years and desperately want to know what's happening in 2122, but I can wait a week to find out and am not badgering conference-goers about it.

Should some at Fed HQs call you the second you order and tell you everything that happens in 2122? Sheesh. And there's NO anti-spoiler policy, if you read what Tom said. I find that the majority of conference-goers are choosing to maintain the secret of what sounds like a ground-breaking storyline rather noble, personally. |

I am usually good natured about things but I have been waiting all day to hear who it is. And you do have a point, I am sending my money to Filsinger games for a tag team I may not even want or even heard, not that I am complaining. I think discouraging people who are excited by saying 'ha, ha, I know and you don't" is a good way of killing said excitement. I would agree it was harmless, except for the fact that its being done by a representative of the company. That, combined with people going 'we're not telling you for your own good' has REALLY riled me up... I don't really care about the spoilers, its the principle of the thing. |

Let's hope Tom's post puts an end to the petty bickering. It's stupid and is taking away from what should be a fun, exciting weekend for ALL of us. I mean hell, even if you're not there the new sets are coming out, plenty of new discussion will come on the boards, it's an exciting time.

For the love of God will you please stop taking this seriously, Wildfire. At the end of the day it's just a hobby, not as life or death situation. I know I already posted at the start but that was just humour (because I was looking for any excuse to use that image for a long time). I know Swarm pulls this stuff off every now and then.
