I was wondering that myself. He has been laying low. Although I know there is alot going on in his hive now.
PM2 is in my hands now and unfortunately there have been a bunch of other FG projects that have had priority, but that will change soon, and Swarm should have something to update in the next couple weeks.

I personally hope Swarm returns to this board soon because I think this place really is much better with his insight than without it. Also, to my knowledge, I was the first one here to call Swarm a great "ambassador" to Filsinger Games and I still mean that 100%. Hopefully Swarm returns to this board soon. If Swarm ever came here to Las Vegas, I would buy him and his girlfriend each a beer.

Whether or not he ever choses to return...Swarm's accomplishments and contributions to this board will always endure. From the building of the most popular Fed posting in board history...to being a lightning rod that captured the imagination of the community on countless occassions...to developing and successfully promoting a Filsinger Games product at a level few have come close to equaling. He made an impact on his own terms and will always be remembered as a highly significant figure in the CotG Community.
There's nothing left for him to prove or accomplish. He often wasn't appreciated to the extent that he contributed (bannings, public ridicule by moderators)...and it is best that we respect his privacy and his decision to move on.
Godspeed and best wishes in the real world my friend. There will never be another one like you.

This is a guy who: * openly and intentionally violated numerous rules of conduct, and took obvious pride in it, * deliberately attempted to deceive people regarding his online identity and found other ways to sneak around when he was suspended, * treated members of the Filsinger Games staff not named Tom with intentional hostility and condescension, * publicly belittled people for such heinous sins as creating bootleg wrestlers or choosing not to use all the advanced game options, then conveniently created his own bootlegs and argued that the choice charts were unnecessary, and * is the primary--if not the sole--reason that guests are no longer allowed to post on this forum. This latter point is the one that really sticks in my craw. There was a time when you, yourself argued against the need to register as a forum member in order to post, thus: Quite a long journey from the call to arms against ego-stroking internet celebrities to defending one of the worst offenders. Then again, it's also quite a stretch to go from that to flashy spinning avatars, quoting Harvey Firestone on the highest calling of leadership ("with precise discernment," no doubt) and citing one's self as an "Architect, Mentor, Visionary, and Champion." No wonder I avoid these boards. Sheesh.

While I agree with most of what Paint said, his comments did sound like a benediction. I wasn't sure if I was supposed to do the sign of the cross afterwards. I like and miss Swarm's presence as much as anyone but he was hardly a saint and attempts to turn him into a martyr are misdirected.

We may not always see eye to eye, but I've always thought Swarm is a good guy, and I hope he's well.
Strong.

You forgot that he is also the board member who will be getting a heart transplant in the not so distant future. Lay off, bro. Swarm has always/will always march to his own beat. Whether anyone agrees with him or not. While Swarm's ways may have rubbed some the wrong way, as Paint said, he has contributed more to this game than almost anyone and more than most even know.

Are you telling me that Swarm is missing .....again. Is he having a competition with KB to see who can disappear the most. In all honesty I really don't even notice when or if people go missing from the board.

You don't pay attention but yet you take a shot at someone who is having life threatening surgery by comparing him to someone who just spent significant time in the hospital following surgery. Yeah, that's funny stuff.
