I was too hung up on the diarrhea part to remember the whole thing. I thought it didn't sound quite right.
I always though Kruk was half nuts.

I don't think it's Kruk or Golic who says it, though I think both are in the commercial.
I totally understand the intent of what he was saying, but something about that line struck me the wrong way. I guess just the thought that if all else were equal (and obviously it's not) and it was a woman saying the same line, in the same way, in the same type of commercial, there would be outrage.
I also agree that commercials always playing men up as bumbling idiots is annoying. I especially dislike commercials where men are clueless about any sort of household chore...and this is usually shown in conjunction with their bratty kid screaming "MOM DOESN'T DO IT THAT WAY YOU IDIOT!" to add another layer of crap.

Yeah, the days of men being house-stupid are over. Since I work at home, I've gotten to see my kids grow up without ever needing to send them to day care (my wife worked part time through the past 5 years since our first son was born, and took about a year off completely after our second was born). I may not be as on the ball about certain things as she is, but sometimes I come up with "daddy ways" to fix problems that are better than hers. Or if not better, then at least they achieve the same result in more or less the same way. Although it's rare that he does, when my older son says, "Mom doesn't do it like that," you know what I say? "I'm not Mom, am I, bud?" It usually gets a smile.

Kruk was a perfect fit with that early 90's philadelphia team of guys like Jim Eisenrich, Lenny Dysktra, Pete Incavalia and Mtich Williams. Kruk's batting stance always reminded me of Conan swinging a sword

We just had a commercial get changed because of a "racey comment". The commercial in question is for nestle drumsticks. Three teens go to a freezer and the all want something diffrent. The boy says he wants a drumstick and a little fairy turns the boy into a drumstick. A girl then says she wants a frozen rollo and the fairy turns the boy into a rolo. A second girl says she wants a frozen caramilk and the fairy turns the boy into a frozen caramilk. The boy then says again he wants a drumstick and the fairy turns him into a drumstick again. The girls the each take a bite out of him and he says "girls easy on my nuts". That has been changed to "take it easy on me"
