Last month i kept getting "are you gay" quiz links in the ad area. I stopped reading Havoc's posts for a while and they went away.

Anyone else disturbed by the "Israeli Lies" ad that appears every now and then. WOW...really? That is pretty bad. I'm a big Israel supporter, so that is pretty disturbing. We had a letter the other day to the sports editor here that stated they should not run any pics or stories of Barry Bonds due to his negative influence on kids. Granted, I think he is a cheat and I'm no fan, but until he is 100% proven innocent, kinda unfair for that person to request that. But the day after, someone wrote a letter rather than not posting pics of Bonds, rather cut out the adult advertisements in the sports page. There was a story on the local youth baseball team and under it was all kinds of adult entertainment ads. I think that's probably a better idea instead of not running a pic of Bonds. |

man MFT, the adult ads in our local paper are getting out of hand. I think if I had kids I'd want them to avoid the sports section because it's all sex hotlines and strip clubs and pills to make "that certain part of the male body" grow. I realize it's tough to fill ad space, and that the sports section is predominantly read by men (IE the people most likely to use sex hotlines, strip clubs and dong pills), but some of it just goes too far. And that's coming from a dirty Northern Lib.  |

Yeah, I'd say I'm more :"Libertarian" in that what people do on their own time, in their own home...I have no problem with.
