wow, didn't realize counting was one of those hard subjects, either... my first several posts were nothing but banter with wildfire, Swarm was only mentioned as a by-product of other people's comments... and then the BAAAAAAAAAAD boys of the board (anyone else hear the sheep??) had to get all scrunchy about stuff and begin proving that without their fearless leader to read the posts to them, they really aren't very good or accurate with their attacks, but hey, that's OK, I'm still just mainly here to flick crap at wildfire, so it's all good and there's till more than enough love to go around... speaking of wow, I just had one hella run-on sentence... I hope you'll find some time to contribute something meaningful to this board in the near future. In the meantime I guess you'll continue to "flick crap". When you act like a clown, you shouldn't be surprised when others treat you like a clown.[/quote what exactly would you like me to post more meaningful?? let me ask at what point does someone talking to someone else (with whom you are NOT part of the conversation), become so offensive to you that you fell compelled to jump in?? I'm just curious as to what the "rules" are for you guys around here?? I was actually a "meaningful member" of this board for quite some time... then ridiculous stuff (like this) began to occur and I went to the other board, found people didn't have to evaluate what they said to each other, because people simply had common courtesy and were able to enjoy each others company (even when "being a clown") without having to worry how a 3rd party might have a breakdown about it... that's why I became exclusive to the deuce for quite some time... now, for quite some time, I've heard things were getting better over here and had thought I might return to check it out... However, I see that there are still those over here that can't mind their own business and leave others alone... Dragon Breath, I don't know you from Adam, and I have no desire to, so if I'm that offensive to you... Dude, go somewhere else, find another "meaningful thread" and get off me... don't know you, don't like you, don't care who you are or think you are, whine and snivel at someone who cares... that's me, that's who I am... I give my friends crap, and ignore people who I don't like, try it, it's fun... back on my original topic... back on my original topic... Wildfire, if the pennies are falling on your head, prolly not from heaven, talk to the guy in the aprtment above yours... Since I live in a 3 floor condo, the only ones upstairs would be my kids... they start flinging pennies, they are in BIG trouble  |

You tell him to go find another "meaningful thread". You're the one that is on a thread to talk about Swarm leaving. That doesn't sound much like ignoring the people you don't like either. You went to your own board, I'm sure you had plenty of reasons, and one was Swarm. Now, he leaves and you want to come in and have a little conversation with Wildfire and Offspring. There's other threads you could've created or you could've had them on the Deuce but you chose to have it right here. |

I never claimed to be a tough guy and I don't need any gimmicks..I've never threatened anyone with physical action and I never will. I've never harassed anyone in a PM. If I have a problem I say it in the public forum even though thats not allowed cuz I really could care less what a community of overweight wrestling fans think of me. I've tried many times to be a peacemaker on this board but that just didn't fly. I don't have respect for people who pack their bags up and leave because of words. If get that easily offended you should probably be seeing a psychologist. Most of the time on these boards I'm just trying to add to a decent conversation with my viewpoint.
I only speak the truth and state my opinion like a man. If thats too real for all of you then maybe the old D-Town leader had a reason to commit Swarmicide.

8) No personal attacks; Name calling, insults or other comments that are demeaning in nature to another poster in any way will not be tolerated. If Swarm had said stuff like this, people would freak out and he'd get banned eventually. This is a thread about Swarm and bizarro comes in and starts blasting everyone. It's weak dude. You want people to "be cool" and want "3rd parties to stay out." It's a discussion board. I thought you went with all your like-minded people to the deuce. You say how it's so much greater, so why did you come back? And don't tell people that they didn't do well in school because of typos when your posts have them, too. |

You mean like: LMAO!!! man, I hate to ruin your guys "man-love" fest for Swarm with facts, but it was a quote from an ealier post... I realize that reading and retention may not be the strongest suits for some people, but usually taking things in context is a helpful trait... It seems like you're all gung-ho to dish it out, but pretty thin skinned when it comes to taking it. Apparently its not OK for someone to call your posts like they see them. If you wish to carry on your dialoge with Wildfire without anyone else participating there is always PM. And I'm not offended at all. And I haven't taken issue with any comments made by anyone in this thread except one, which was your Man Love comment. As I said before, I do sincerely hope that you manage to make a positive contribution to this board. Is deleting your account any better than to not post for almost a year like you? I've always been cool with you Punisher but I think some might have a problem with your argument when you say you "don't care what overweight wrestling fans think of you," yet you do seem to care when someone you only know on the internet deletes their account. Let these Deuce dudes be. All they're doing is trying to get a rise of people here at the expense of Swarm's name. Don't give them the satisfaction. |

I'm not mad. I could give a damn about some guy I don't know. Just stating the opinion. I don't care. He seemed like a decent human being the times we conversed. That about as much as I know. If I ever have the pleasure in person maybe I will, maybe I won't. The majority of my comments now have to come in defense of my terrible "tough guy gimmick," when in reality I'm the same as the rest of the people here. I work a 40 hour week, I have bills and I like a game some professor created in the 80's. And overweight wrestling fans was a harsh remark. It would have been better to state people who post on an internet wrestling board that I've never met in person. |

As long as Swarm is gone, this is only going to get worse. It doesn't matter that he is doing this for Tom because if those who want to trash Rob don't care...then it doesn't matter what Rob sacrifices for him. I understand his need to be away, having had the opportunity to meet you & him at GCon & have discussions outside the game & about the game..I can say that this is more of a loss to this community than we realize. The longest standing fed, while poking fun at people (and I have been one of them) was still great to read & was one that I looked forward to whenever he would post a new card. I like most people have crossed swords with Swarm but I am sorry to see things have gone this way. What is this community coming to when one person, no matter who it is, feels he has to leave this community to keep someone else happy? Crazy. Just plain crazy.

I was trying to have fun, and stay out of the bickering, but I just gonna comment real quick hear...
I have NEVER attacked Swarm (or anyone else) personally on this board. I'm sure Rob is a great boyfriend, I don't know him, I only know the character he played on this board.
I've argued with him, sure, sometimes passionately, but disagreeing is very different from a personal attack.

I think some people said somethings regarding how the subversion of Subversion would adversely effect sales. And Swarm's love of the game and for Tom made that hurt more than it would to the rest of us. So sometimes something that comes out in an argument is a personal attack whether you know it or not.
This thread started fine with everyone wondering what happened. It degenerated and I admit a role in that. I stand by my opinions in my posts but realize it was probably wrong place wrong time. It is a bit sickening the amount of negative attention this board gives when it hears Swarm. And everyone knows that Swarm would be banned by now if he were in here defending himself. I will support that there was a bias against him.
I'm done with this topic.

I will miss Swarm...Sure we didn't see eye to eye on everything. But he was a cool guy that had a great passion for the game and this community...He will be missed, and No I'm not one of his Boys either, just a member of this forum.
