LOL...about like Pete Fusco's ego when the ladies compare him to Ben Stein! Please...I'm much closer to Keith Olbermann in the looks department and he's got that sort of "Ivy League brainiac" sex-appeal about him. Or so I've been told. Since I'm ridiculously late to this thread, let me try to respond to everything in one paragraph: I don't mind hippies but I absolutely despise Phish and the Grateful Dead and only like Dave Matthews when he's in the studio and not in the middle of 20-minute jamfest egof****s. Where does this put me on the "real man" heirarchy? Also, I have never, ever in my life--in Ohio or anywhere else--seen fake testicles hanging from a car or a truck. Ever. |

So how's the poverty level/unemployment there in MD? Glad to know the guy's focusing on the important stuff.
By the way, Sickman, you're in Orlando? I'm in Jacksonville, though I used to live in Orlando.

Man, so this is what happens to my thread when I get a few hours' sleep? Anyway... So how's the poverty level/unemployment there in MD? Glad to know the guy's focusing on the important stuff. In Baltimore City and Prince George's County (east of DC), pretty bad. Maryland is a state of extreme extremes. I'm in the rural, fairly red-leaning western part, which is about the same politically as the rural, fairly-red eastern shore beyond the Chesapeake Bay. In the middle, you've got both the highly wealthy nouveau riche (Montgomery and Frederick Counties) and the terribly poor (PG County, Baltimore and some of the surrounding 'burbs). Baltimore needs a heck of a lot of help, I will say that. And not the kind that comes from fake testicle legislation. But thanks for bringing the discussion back to where I foolishly assumed it would remain! |
