Wow we have 13 guests on here right now...that is crazy! I bet some of the deuce guys are missing this place is my bet. I don't blame them. This board rules! Just an idle though. Has to be.

It likely the work thing... since you don't have to log in to post, you can browse without leaving evidence (in the form of a login cookie) that you were here... might be important to someone check on a public computer.
I don't think there's that many guys from the Deuce that don't have accounts here too.

Actually most of them deleted their accounts in a group movement meant to make a stand but apprarently it was more like a fart in the wind since you hadn't noticed...for what it's worth if it weren't for the parting announcement threads I wouldn't have know either so I'll give you that.
You're probably right about the work thing though.

True, but several have since come back.. besides, even the initial exodus wasn't 13 people, I don't think...
even if it was, the chances they'll all be on at once in the middle of the day is pretty slim.
Just want to keep the record straight

Just want to keep the record straight It just seemed like a lot of guests at one time is all I didn't think it was a group undercover field trip or anything.

I'm often on as a guest actually, just to quickly check places that I've posted to see if anything interesting has happened...

I sometimes wind up as a guest when my login expires. This usually happens around 4pm on work days.

Am I the only one who sets the login at home and work on forever?

Am I the only one who sets the login at home and work on forever? Nope. I got it set on forever at work, on my computer and on my wife's computer

Am I the only one who sets the login at home and work on forever? Being the admin for the site, that's not really a good idea for me. Just as a general precaution.

How come? Can't you just still log out whenever you want too if you had too or is it more like the Mafia?

I have mine set on forever at home, but not at work, (more in case my boss uses my 'puter)
I definately see why as the admin you wouldn't stay logged in...
I can see it know:
"Sorry the fed forum board is gone guys, my wife and I had this fight and..."

There are other reasons as well I'm sure (but I won't offer any)...
I'm normally on "forever" except when I know I'm not going to be on the computer that much, such as when I did that 18 day work stretch...There is also the "I don't want <whoever> to sign in under my name, or read my PM box, or whatever...
And Wildfire's boss is a really good example...
