I can score plenty of Yuengling in Maryland, too. It's a good sippin' beer. Pete, Mike's Cranberry Lemonade? It's like I don't know who you are anymore... Do men actually drink this? What's the world coming to? I'll go with mostly any British ale (Samuel Smith's are particularly good) and White Russian.

Mike's Cranberry Lemonade? It's like I don't know who you are anymore... Do men actually drink this? What's the world coming to? I have acquired a "sweet tooth" when it comes to alcohol...Most beers taste like those "bitter beer face" commercials from a couple of years ago! After living in Germany and drinking that really good German Weisen, it is hard for anything to compare. I still love you Man! BUT...there will NOT be a BBM moment at G-Con when we see each other...your a friend and all but that AIN'T GOING TO HAPPEN!

I have to agree with Pete. After having lived in Germany for the past 3 years, the Hefeweisen is hard to beat. Coming back to the States and drinking the watered down beer just isn't the same. I'm also partial to Strongbow cider, Guinness on tap, and my personal favorite, Guinness with a shot of Bailey's.

I agree totally about domestic beers (and even a lot of Canadian, sorry to our friends up north). Several years ago I did the Copper Clover quest at Bennigans, where you got various prizes after having up to 100 different beers on their menu (no more than three a night, sadly!). That spoiled me to the European stuff. Although I'm definitely more of an ale than a lager guy. Bazzy's with me on that one, no doubt. Coors Light? {Iron Sheik voice} HAACCCCHHH! PTOOOOO!

If you went into the pubs around K-town or Landstuhl were I was living and asked for a Bud Light, etc., they'd tell you to go to the club on the base for the wannabe beer. But I had a great time going to all the winefests while I was there. 3 years may seem like a long time but to me it seemed like I was there for half that. Even got into one of the beer halls at Oktoberfest this past year. Talk about a great time and drank a sh*tload of beer.

Beer - Killian's Irish Red. (although Yuengling is good too, and like Mark I can score it easily in Maryland).
otherwise, give me a glass of Johnny Walker Black on the rocks.

Okay, this beer has been mentioned multiple times and always in the positive. While it has come to light that i am not the biggest beer consumer, I just want to know who is going to bring some to Jamestown so that we can partake in this beverage to find out the truth...the beer truth and nothing but the beer truth?

If anyone coming to the Con tells me who wants some Yuengling (and how much), I'll grab some on my way out of town Friday. Six-packs are usually your average $5-$6 around my area. They do have a few varieties including a Black and Tan (not always available, though). PM me and let me know. I'll be your beer fairy! (Wait, that didn't sound so good...)

Hey, if Colin Mochrie can be the Nabisco snack fairy on TV...
I'd rather be the beer fairy, given the choice!

Mine used to be vodka and orange juice. And every once in a while, Vodka and cranberry juice.
I don't drink alcohol anymore.
