Iwasa asked for another match, since YAMATO was injured here. YAMATO seemed to decline. Jack was injured during the match, he was bleeding heavily.
Fujii called the strife with Kuroda over. Thankfully.
Kid had Kinta pinned with the UltraHurri when Gamma went after his mask to cause the DQ. Gamma thanked the Kobe fans for coming to World to see his match, again calling himself the DG ace, and the fans idiots.
Nagata is cosplaying as Take-chan Man. Longtime fans will remember TARU did this character as TARU-chan Man back in the early days of Toryumon.
Stalker vs. Kantaro Hoshino was decided for New Japans' October show in Kobe World Hall.
MO'z tried to take K-ness out of the Brave match. They succeeded briefly, and Kinta took over and tried to cause a double ringout with a fast count. K-ness returned to get rid of him, though. Later on, Genki hit K-ness with the Blue Box, which brought Kinta back in. Eventually President Okamura came down and KO'd Kinta with a high kick. K-ness recovered, gave Genki the Darkness Buster, allowing Kanda to hit the elbow and win the title. With Kanda back in Mohawk look, the blue box, and all the interference, this one had quite an M2K feel to it.
President Okamura spoke after intermission. He said the attendance this year was yet another record attendance, breaking last year. He announced another venture into the main arena of Osaka Prefectural Gym, on 11/25. He then said, after 3 more successful conventions in that building, they would make an advance on Osaka Castle Hall and the Osaka Dome. Okamura also mentioned plans to run World in the United States next year......The way it was worded made it sound like an idea more than anything definitive.
Jack came out to second NH, so he is still indestructable. YAMATO however did not come out, so his injury looks to still be an issue. Some controversy over the finish. After a typical Triangle Gate match of referee bumps and interference, it appeared Yoshino kicked out of the Falconry, but Referee Ohya counted 3 anyway.
CIMA and Lyger shook hands afterwards. Lyger put the title around CIMAs' waist. CIMA thanked his parents, DG, and all the DG fans to close out the show.
