from www.puroresufan.com/Update: According to Hoshino at the press conference, Vader will wrestle, but Hoshino is leaving it to WrestleLand (New Japan's 'Smackdown!' type show) spokesman Hirata to find him a suitable opponent. Vader will wear the "Emperor Fighter" armor for the first time in ten years, the "Big Van Vader" image that is owned by New Japan. Hoshino threatened WL, saying the man who crushed Inoki, Fujinami, and the 3 Musketeers is on his way, and that 9/3 Korakuen would be "Vader Time". *Hopefully he's dropped at least a couple of pounds from the last time he was on RAW and literally 'fell' out of the ring. That being said...WrestleLand is more 'show' and 'entertainment' so I'm sure they won't ask too much of him. The entrance alone (baring any slips) should be worth a You Tube clip at the very least.

Leon White aka Vader was a very shrewd business man during his days of stardom. He invested his money wisely and is esteemed as a fairly prominent 'angel investor' in the wealthy state of Colorado. At this stage he's far better off putting his time and energy into building strip malls and flipping high end properties than doing pro wres. From a fan's perspective it's best to just remember he as he was during his prime.
LWPD (not too long ago Vader signed the WWE Legends deal...which pretty much confirms his career is in the past)

Vader was probably my favorite big man ever...I was always a WWF fan, but I watched a lot of him in WCW, even though their story-lines sucked balls...
(anyone remember the midget in the boat when Sting and Bulldog fought Sid and Vader?)
Vader vs. Sting, is, to this day, one of my all time favorite feuds and the feud that inspired my own Chaos-Justice two year long battle in TGFITG way back when.

Vader was just a monster. From his entrance with the smoking headthingie to his beatdowns of his opponents. He was the man to watch.
A lot of his matches are classics and he was a good worker as well.

In addition to his impressive resume, Vader dominates Fire Pro on the Gameboy. ;D Vader dominates ANY version of Fire Pro Wrestling. He's a CRITICAL monster in every version of the game I have played.

The Game Boy versions aren't bad. The graphics are the level of Super Fire Pro Wrestling X Premium on SNES, but the game play is consistent with the whole series. Pretty much has everything you can do in Fire Pro G on PS1 and even a few new moves that were downloadable add ons to Fire Pro D. I have the newest, Fire Pro R, sitting here on my desk waiting for the arrival of my PS2 mod kit.
For your enjoyment...
(See Vader dominate in the Fire Pro D section)
(a more specific look at Fire Pro D, said to be the best in the series till Fire Pro R)
